Brown was a healthy scratch in Calgary on Saturday but will replace J.C. Beaudin in the lineup in Vancouver. Brown has one goal and five assists (six points) in 12 games with the Senators.

Kuemper allowed one goal on 38 shots in the Coyotes loss in Vegas on Friday. Antti Raanta started Saturday but they'll come back to Kuemper in Columbus. November was another great month for Kuemper, who was 5-3-2 with a 2.04 GAA, .937 SV% and two shutouts in 10 games. Kuemper leads the NHL in GAA (1.97) and SV% (.935) so you can't bench him regardless of the matchup.

Edler was forced to leave Saturday's win in Edmonton with an upper-body injury and is not expected to play in the second-half of their home-and-home on Sunday. With Edler out, look for Tyler Myers and Quinn Hughes to play a lot more on Sunday and for Troy Stecher to see some power-play time.

Dumoulin had multiple tendons in his ankle lacerated in Saturday's loss to St. Louis and is expected to miss at least two months after undergoing surgery on Sunday morning. Injuries have been a huge issue for the Penguins this season but they've managed to stay afloat and will likely take the Dumoulin injury in-stride as well. He logged big minutes on their blueline, so someone like Marcus Pettersson is likely going to be tasked with taking on a larger role moving forward.

The Senators are on the tail-end of a back-to-back so they will give their rookie centre the night off. J.C. Beaudin will replace Brown in the lineup on Saturday.

Antti Raanta was scheduled to start tonight's game but is sick, so Kuemper will take over between the pipes. He has surprisingly lost two straight while allowing three goals in each game, but has a bounce-back matchup on tap with the Ducks in town. He allowed two goals on 29 shots in a 2-1 loss in Anaheim in the season opener.

Edler was forced to leave Saturday's game in Washington but was on the ice for Monday's morning skate and is expected to play in Philadelphia. Edler leads the Canucks in ice-time (23:54 ATOI) while posting 15 points (4G / 11A) but has had a hard time staying out of the box (34 PIMS) in 24 games this season.

Edler was forced to leave Saturday's game in the first period after sustaining an upper-body injury. Edler's injury is not serious and he is expected to skate before Monday's game to see if he can play in Philadelphia. If he can't play, Oscar Fantenberg will likely replace him in the lineup and Tyler Myers would see PP2 time.

With Mike Green and Patrik Nemeth not expected to play on Thursday, Hicketts joins the Red Wings in Columbus. The 23-year-old has two assists in five NHL games this season and is second among Griffins' defensemen with nine points (all assists) in 11 AHL games.

The Maple Leafs started a six-game road trip on Saturday and Moore is not currently with the team. His move to IR means he will miss at least two more games and it opens up a spot for Pierre Engvall to be called up from the Marlies (AHL).

Moore suffered a shoulder injury against the Bruins last night and will miss at least Saturday's game against the Penguins. Dmytro Timashov will likely draw into the lineup for Moore.

Kuemper allowed two goals on 35 shots in the Coyotes win in St. Louis on Tuesday. Antti Raanta gave him another night off on Thursday but will turn to Kuemper on Saturday afternoon. He is 3-3-0 with a 1.86 GAA, .939 SV% and one shutout in six starts in Arizona, so don't hesitate to start him vs. a Flames team that is 22nd in goal-scoring (2.76 GF/gm).

Brown missed six games with an upper-body injury but will play Friday vs. the Flyers. Brown had two assists in four games before he got hurt and will get a huge opportunity on Friday. The hulking centre will skate on the top-line with Brady Tkachuk and Anthony Duclair, who have combined for nine goals and seven assists (16 points) in their last 10 games.

Kempe was a healthy scratch vs. the Wild on Tuesday but is expected to replace Carl Grundstrom vs. the Red Wings. After posting 37 and 28 points in the last two seasons, Kempe has struggled to a 19-point pace in 2019-20.

In addition to calling up Jonathan Ericsson on Wednesday, Hicketts will also join the Red Wings in California. Hicketts had one assist in four games with the Red Wings earlier in the season and leads all Griffins defensemen with nine points (0G / 9A) in 11 AHL games.
