Panarin was missing from the morning skate but will play tonight vs. the Capitals. Panarin will move up to the top line with Mika Zibanejad and comes in with no points in his last three games.



Byfield was the No.2 overall pick in this year's draft and he's set to make his NHL debut on Wednesday. Byfield, who is expected to centre the third line, scored eight goals with 12 assists (20 points) in 30 AHL games in 2021.




Edler missed the last two games after being suspended for a kneeing incident on Zach Hyman last Sunday. Edler will replace Jalen Chatfield in the lineup.
