Forsberg allowed four goals on 21 shots in the Blackhawks loss in Vancouver last Thursday. Forsberg will face the Stars for the second time this season—he stopped 33 of 35 shots in a 3-2 shootout loss in Dallas on December 2nd. Forsberg has gone 1-3-1 with a 2.39 GAA and .930 SV% on home-ice this season.



Kuemper stopped all 27 shots that he faced in the Kings shutout win over the Coyotes on Saturday. Kuemper has played very well as of late, winning each of his last three games while stopping 85 go 86 shots (.988 SV%). The 27-year-old enters play at 4-1-1 with a 1.99 GAA and .933 SV% in six starts at the STAPLES Center this season.

Fiala’s starts for Wednesday’s game in Toronto is in question after he missed the morning skate. Fiala has registered two goals in each of his last two games but he might not be available tonight. Predators head coach Peter Laviolette said there “nothing to report” regarding Fiala’s status, so consider him a game-time decision.

Tonight he will look to get revenge against the Canucks—he allowed five goals on 31 shots (.839 SV%) in a 5-2 loss in Vancouver in late-December.

Forsberg has been up and down this season and comes into Tuesday having gone 3-2-0 while allowing 11 goals on 146 shots (.925 SV%) in his last five games. In his first start vs. the Predators, Forsberg allowed three goals on 31 shots in a 3-2 loss in late-November.





Forsberg gave up two goals on 27 shots in the Blackhawks loss to Minnesota on January 10th. Jeff Glass has started the last two games, but Forsberg will start tonight vs. the Islanders. The 25-year-old has gone 1-2-1 with a 1.62 GAA and .949 SV% in four starts at the United Center.

Kuemper allowed three goals on 32 shots in the Kings loss to the Sharks on Monday. With Jonathan Quick struggling, it’s no surprise to see Kuemper go tonight in Anaheim. he has not played a lot this season, but has been really good when called upon. He comes into tonight at 2-0-2 with a 2.03 GAA and .940 SV% in six road appearances.


This is far from surprising considering Danault was hospitalized after getting hit in the head by a Zdeno Chara slapshot on Saturday. With Danault out, Daniel Carr will draw into the Canadiens lineup vs. the Islanders.
