Kuemper allowed five goals on 31 shots in the Coyotes loss overtime loss in Philadelphia on Thursday. With Antti Raanta sidelined, Kuemper will start again tonight in Pittsburgh. Kuemper has lost back-to-back starts while allowing a combined nine goals on 64 shots (.859 SV%). He should be left on the bench vs. a Penguins team that is ninth in goals (3.36 GF/PG).

Armia was forced to leave Tuesday’s game in New York and was not on the ice for Thursday’s morning skate. Armia will come out of the lineup vs. the Sabres, which means Tomas Tatar will play on the top power-play unit and Kenny Agostino was called-up to play on the third line and second power-play.

Haula was stretchered off of the ice after a collision with Patrick Marleau on Tuesday and will miss the rest of the Golden Knights’ road-trip. Haula will likely be re-evaluated once the Golden Knights return to Vegas and a full timetable will be released. However, this has to seem like positive news because it looked like his season could be over last night.
Moore, 23, did not appear in a game with the Maple Leafs and returns to the AHL where he has collected 11 points (8G / 3A) in 10 games this season.
Kuemper made 27 shots in the Coyotes win over the Canucks on October 25th. Kuemper played well in back-to-back starts while Antti Raanta was sick and is now 2-1-0 with a 13.4 GAA and .957 SV% in three games this season. Tonight he faces a Flyers team that has lost four of their last six games and will be without their top-2 net minders.
Hicketts has been a healthy scratch for the last three games and failed to a record a point in his first eight games with the Red Wings. Hicketts heads back to the AHL, where he had 12 points (3G / 9A) in 67 games last year.
Ceci has missed the last four games with an upper-body injury, but will replace Ben Harpur in Colorado. Ceci had no points, a minus-4 rating and six shots on goal in his first four games of the season.
Edler was forced to leave Wednesday’s game with a lower-body injury and was placed on IR on Thursday afternoon. He will go for an MRI on Friday to determine the severity of his injury. Edler missing time due to injury comes as no surprise, as the veteran defenseman has missed at least 12 games in each of the last three seasons—missing a total of 56 games over that span.
Kuemper filled in for Antti Raanta, who was a late scratch after being schedule to start Tuesday’s game in Columbus. Kuemper stopped 35 of 36 shots in the 4-1 win. Tonight he will make his third start of the season and comes in with a 1.52 GAA and .953 SV% in his first two outings. He draws a solid matchup against a Canucks team that is banged up and coming in on the tail-end of a back-to-back.
Edler played just 3:10 TOI before leaving Wednesday’s game in Vegas. Edler was hit hard by Golden Knights winger Max Pacioretty and did not return to the ice. Michael Del Zotto will likely replace Edler if he can’t play Thursday in Arizona.
With Corey Crawford back for the Blackhawks, they have sent Forsberg back to the AHL, where he was 27-17-2 with a 2.28 GAA, .926 SV% and four shutouts in his last stint.
Ceci will miss his fourth straight games with an upper-body injury, but is getting close. Christian Jaros was recalled and will be in the lineup on Tuesday with Ceci still sidelined.
