Fleury is expected to get the starts vs. Carolina.

Fleury allowed five goals on 25 shots in the Penguins loss in Tampa Bay on Friday. Fleury is now 2-1-3 with a 2.61 GAA and .914 SV% since returning from a concussion. One of those extra time losses came against the Hurricanes, who he will face again this afternoon. Fleury is 8-5-2 with a 2.52 GAA and .918 SV% on home ice this year.

Fleury allowed three goals on 21 shots in the Penguins OT loss in Carolina on Tuesday. Fleury is 2-1-2 with a 2.16 GAA and .932 SV% in January and tonight will be his sixth consecutive start. He will take on a Tampa Bay Lightning team that has won three in a row, outscoring their opponent 10-4.

Getting Fleury back will be a huge boost for the Penguins, who will take on the Blackhawks tonight. Fleury allowed two goals on 40 shots in the Penguins shootout loss against the Kings on Friday. Fleury has now lost three of his last four starts despite posting an impressive 1.98 GAA and .934 SV%. Tonight will be his first start under new head coach Mike Sullivan—it comes against a Capitals team that is fifth in the NHL in scoring (2.96 G/PG).

Fleury made 24 saves on 26 shots in the Penguins win in Colorado on Wednesday. Entering Thursday, Fleury had lost three of four, so it was nice to see him get back in the win column. Fleury currently ranks fourth in the NHL in Wins (13), eighth in SV% (.926) and 12th in GAA (2.23). He draws a tough matchup with the Kings in town, but he has a career 1.95 GAA in nine games vs. L.A.

Fleury allowed two goals on 25 shots in the Penguins loss in Anaheim on Sunday. Fleury has lost three of his last four (1-2-1) despite posting a solid 2.25 GAA and .935 SV%. Fleury has gone 5-5-1 with a 2.01 GAA and .936 SV% on the road this season and tonight he takes on the Avalanche for the second time this season—he allowed three goals on 31 shots in a 4-3 loss in the first meeting.

Johansson (undisclosed) will play Tuesday vs. the Red Wings.

Johansson was a late scratch on Saturday, but was on the ice for Tuesday’s morning skate and will play against the Red Wings. Johansson’s return means that Stanislav Galiev will be a healthy scratch and Andre Burakovsky will move to the fourth line. Johansson has 13 points (5G / 8A) in 24 games this season.
