Fleury is now expected to start for the Penguins; Greiss being tested for mumps.

This is a crazy situation. Originally Greiss had been the scheduled starter with Fleury being tested for mumps. Fleury's tests came back negative and was cleared to play tonight. Now Greiss is being tested for mumps and is in isolation, which leaves Fleury to start tonight with Jeff Zatkoff as his backup.

Fleury has tested negative for mumps and is cleared to play on Thursday.

Thomas Greiss had been announced as the Penguins starter when Fleury was expected to be out. Now that Fleury has been cleared to play, we will see if this changes the starting goalie situation. Either way this is excellent news for the Penguins.

Spurgeon (illness) is not expected to play on Tuesday.

As of right now, the Wild say that Spurgeon will miss his second straight game with a stomach illness. Coach Mike Yeo is expected to address the media at 6:30 PM ET, where Spurgeon will officially be ruled in or out. If Spurgeon can’t go, Stu Bickel will stay in the lineup.

Fleury will be in goal for the Penguins.

Fleury stopped 26 of 27 shots in the Penguins win over the Flames on Friday. He was given Saturday night off, but will be back in goal tonight vs. the Lightning. It is a meeting between the second and third best offences in the league, so this one could be a high-scoring affair.

Bogosian is expected to miss 4-6 weeks with a lower-body injury.

Bogosian suffered the injury while blocking a shot in the Jets OT win over the Oilers on Wednesday night. The Jets will also be without Tobias Enstrom for the rest of the month, so this will be a huge test for their blue line. Bogosian is out until the New Year at least, could be sidelined until mid-January. Expect a call-up from St. John’s.

Fleury will start vs. the Devils.

Fleury allowed three goals on 34 shots in Friday’s loss to the Hurricanes. It was an unexpected defeat and just Fleury’s fourth regulation loss of the season.
