Hughes (undisclosed) will be a game-time decision on Wednesday.

Hughes missed Tuesday's practice and Wednesday's morning skate but head coach Travis Green still thinks there's a chance that he plays tonight vs. the Coyotes. Hughes is officially a game-time decision, so monitor his status as they hit the ice for warmups at 10:00 PM ET.

Fabbri (lower-body) will not play on Thursday.

Fabbri was hurt in a knee-on-knee collision with Jack Hughes on Tuesday and will not play on Thursday. Fabbri was able to avoid serious injury, so consider him as day-to-day. Sam Gagner will make his Red Wings debut to replace Fabbri in the top-6.

Fabbri was forced to leave Tuesday's game after a knee-on-knee hit from Jack Hughes.

Given Fabbri's history of knee injuries, it was obviously a big scare for the Red Wings. However, Dylan Larkin seemed to indicate that Fabbri was doing O.K. but head coach Jeff Blashill had no update on the winger. Expect an update prior to Thursday's game vs. the Wild.

Petersen will start Sunday vs. the Oilers.

Petersen allowed five goals on 34 shots in the Kings loss in Winnipeg last Tuesday. Since coming up from the AHL, Petersen has lost two of his three starts and has posted a sub-optimal 5.02 GAA and .853 SV%. To make matter worse, tonight he will face an Oilers team that gets Connor McDavid back. Look elsewhere.
