Price is battling the flu just three days prior to the start of the regular season, but he will be ready for the season opener vs. the Sabres. Price is coming off of an injury ruined season, but looked terrific in the World Cup of Hockey and enters 2016-17 as a top-3 fantasy netminder. Make sure he is in your lineups on Thursday.
Anderson, 21, has scored 18 goals with 18 assists (36 points) in 53 games with Lake Erie this season. He will likely take Sonny Milano’s spot in the Blue Jackets’ top-6 with Milano heading back the other way. Anderson has one goal and three assists in 16 career NHL games.
Gallagher has missed the last 11 games with a groin injury, but will return to the lineup vs. the Panthers. Gallagher has 35 points (18G / 17A) in 49 games this season.

Price is not expected to return until after the All Star break, but he was on the ice for the last two days, which is a big step in him returning in early February. Price has been sidelined since November 25th because of a lower-body injury and he was originally given a six-week timetable. Next Monday will mark six weeks, but Price has been ruled out for the remainder of January. Monitor Price’s status as the All Star game approaches.
Gallagher has been sidelined since November 22nd after breaking two fingers while blocking a shot. Gallagher will skate on the top line with Tomas Plekanec and Max Pacioretty.
Price missed nine games with a lower-body injury earlier in November and aggravated the injury in his third game back. Price will miss at lest six weeks, which means he will miss the Winter Classic and will be out until mid-January. If Price misses six weeks he will miss 18 games, which means Mike Condon has big shoes to fill and will have Dustin Tokarski as his backup.
