Clearly he is an offensive player but the jury remains out whether the diminutive forward can score in the NHL. He will at least need a top-6 lineup spot to be successful-- a role the team does not have open at this point.

If he stays with the big club it would likely be on the third or fourth line, which makes you think he would be better served in the WHL.
