Saros will miss at least the final two games of the regular season with a lower-body injury.

Saros suffered a lower-body injury on Tuesday and will miss at least the final two games of the regular season. Connor Ingram has been recalled and will serve as their No.2 behind David Rittich until Saros is back. His injury is an obvious concern, as his availability for the postseason is now in question.

Barron (ankle) will miss the rest of the season.

Barron suffered an ankle injury vs. the Senators last Tuesday and will miss the rest of the season. His injury does not require surgery but it will cost him the final few weeks of the year. Barron had one goal and one assist in five games since joining the Canadiens at the trade deadline.

The Lightning have signed Nick Perbix to a one-year, entry-level contract.

Perbix was a sixth-round pick in 2017 and signed his entry-level contract with the Lightning following his fourth year at St. Cloud State. The 23-year-old defenseman had 31 points (6G / 25A) in 31 games with St. Cloud State and had one assist in four games with Team USA at the Olympics.

Lyubushkin (head) will not play Thursday vs. the Jets.

Lyubushkin was pulled from Tuesday's game for precautionary reasons after being punched by Taylor Hall. Carl Dahlstrom is expected to replace him in the lineup on Thursday but the Maple Leafs don't expect Lyubushkin to be out long-term. Monitor his status heading into Saturday's game in Philadelphia.
