The normal time frame is 4-6 months, but there is still some optimism that Stammer could be ready to go for the Olympics, so we will see how his recovery goes.

Stamkos was in obvious pain and has been taken to the hospital for X-rays. It looked gruesome and could be a severe injury for the Lightning sniper. We will get a full update when it is released.

Nashville Predators defenseman Roman Josi is getting closer to a return to game action. Josi participated in practice Monday, the fourth time he has skated with the team in the last five days. He has not played in a game since Oct. 4. “It’s always a slow process with a concussion; you have to go slow and see how you feel,” Josi said of the recovery process. “It takes a while. It’s been almost a month now and I’m excited to be back.”
