Allen stopped all 30 shots that he faced in the Blues’ shutout win in Ottawa on Tuesday. Allen was struggling, but has played well in his last three starts, stopping 83 of 87 shots (.954 SV%). One of those games were against the Maple Leafs, who he will face again tonight—he allowed one goal on 27 shots in a win last Thursday.

Allen allowed three goals on 30 shots in the Blues’ loss to the Penguins on Saturday. Carter Hutton posted a shutout last night, but Allen will be in goal tonight in Ottawa. Allen has had a tough time this season and has been especially bad on the road, going 5-8-1 with a 3.34 GAA and .883 SV% in 15 starts outside of St. Louis.

Markstrom will start Tuesday in Nashville.

Markstrom gave up two goals on 32 shots in the Canucks’ win in Colorado on January 25th. Ryan Miller has started six of the last seven games, but Markstrom will go tonight in Nashville. The 27-year-old has gone 4-7-1 with a 2.43 GAA and .922 SV% in 11 starts and three relief appearances on the road this season.

Allen will start Saturday vs. the Penguins.

Allen allowed one goal on 27 shots in the Blues’ win over the Maple Leafs on Thursday. It was a much-needed win for Allen, who had been struggling mightily before Thursday. It’s been a tough season for Allen, but his numbers on home-ice are solid—13-5-2 with a 2.44 GAA and .908 SV%.

Allen allowed four goals on 23 shots in the Blues’ loss to the Jets on Tuesday. It wasn’t a great return to the crease for Allen and his struggles seem to be directly related with Ken Hitchcock being fired yesterday. With Mike Yeo behind the bench, Allen will go again tonight vs. the Maple Leafs.

Allen stopped all three shots that he faced after replacing Carter Hutton in the Blues’ loss in Minnesota last Thursday. Allen has lost four in a row, has been pulled in three straight and posted a 6.05 GAA and .797 SV%. The Blues gave Allen a chance to reset and will return to the crease tonight versus the Jets.

Markstrom starts Wednesday in Colorado.

Markstrom allowed two goals on 22 shots in the Canucks’ loss to the Devils on January 15th. Ryan Miller started the last three games, but Markstrom will go tonight in Colorado. Markstrom has gone 3-7-1 with a 2.48 GAA and .920 SV% on the road this season and he stopped 33 of 35 shots in a 3-2 shootout win in his first start vs. the Avalanche.

Allen will start Thursday vs. the Capitals.

Allen was pulled after he allowed three goals on 15 shots in the Blues’ loss in Los Angeles last Thursday. Carter Hutton started the last three games, but Allen will go tonight vs. the Capitals. The 26-year-old has gone 1-2-0 with a 3.66 GAA and .870 SV% in four January starts and tonight he’ll make his 19th start on home-ice. In the first 18 he has gone 12-3-2 with a 2.26 GAA and .915 SV%.

Allen was yanked after he gave up three goals on 11 shots in the Blues’ loss to the Bruins on Tuesday. Allen has now lost four of his last five starts, being pulled twice and allowing a combined 14 goals on 107 shots (.869 SV%). Tonight he will take on the Kings for the second time this season, he posted a 27-save shutout in his first start vs. L.A.

Allen allowed three goals on 28 shots in the Blues’ loss to the Hurricanes on Thursday. The new father sat out on Saturday, but will start tonight vs. the Bruins. Allen has lost three of his last four while posting a 3.04 GAA and .885 SV%. Despite the rough stretch, he was great in his first start vs. Boston, stopping 39 of 41 shots in a 4-2 win.

Markstrom starts Saturday in Calgary.

Markstrom allowed two goals on 44 shots in the Canucks’ win in Edmonton on New Year’s Eve. Ryan Miller started the last three games, including a win last night, but Markstrom will start on the tail-end of the back-to-back. Markstrom has gone 2-1-0 while stopping 106 of 112 shots (.946 SV%)—but that loss came against the Flames, who he faces again tonight.
