Hughes landed on the COVID-19 protocol list after going to the All-Star game in Vegas. He was back on the ice for Saturday's practice and is expected to play Sunday vs. the Penguins. Unfortunately, it looks like he'll be taking Jesper Bratt's spot in the lineup--Bratt is dealing with an upper-body injury.
Cholowski was picked by the Kraken in the expansion draft but they lost him to the Capitals on waivers in October. Re-claiming him means they are able to send him to the AHL. Cholowski has one assist in seven games this season.
Brown missed 10 games after breaking his jaw in warmups in Calgary on January 13th. Brown played the game with a broken jaw, scoring one goal with one assist in 19:28 TOI.
