The Devils placed Jesper Boqvist (upper-body) on IR.
Boqvist suffered an upper-body injury in Florida on November 18th and was moved to IR on Thursday. Moving Boqvist to IR opened up a roster spot to claim Nathan Bastian off of waivers from Seattle. Boqvist is eligible to come off of IR whenever he is healthy.
Line Change
Bjugstad will draw into the Wild lineup on Wednesday.
Bjugstad has been a healthy scratch for the last three games but will replace Victor Rask in the lineup on Wednesday. Bjugstad, who will skate on the fourth line with Nico Sturm, has two goals and no assists in 15 games.
Goalie Start
Allen (concussion) will return to the Canadiens crease on Wednesday.
Hughes (shoulder) returned to the ice in a non-contact jersey on Monday.
Hughes participated in a limited capacity and a non-contact jersey on Monday. Hughes wasn't expected to be back until early December, best-case scenario, so this seems to suggest that he is on track in his recovery.
Allen (concussion) is doubtful to start Saturday.
Allen will likely miss his fourth straight game on Saturday, meaning Samuel Montembeault will likely start vs. the Predators. Keeping him out on Saturday gives Allen an extra three days rest ahead of next Wednesday's game in Washington.
Pesce (undisclosed) will be back in the Hurricanes lineup in Anaheim.
Hatakka will draw back into the Sharks lineup on Tuesday.
Hatakka was a healthy scratch in Colorado but will be back in the Sharks lineup in Minnesota. Hatakka will replace Radim Simek, who will be a healthy scratch.

Tufte was recalled from Texas (AHL) and is expected to make his NHL debut on Saturday.
Tufte was a first-round pick (No.25 overall) in 2016 and is expected to make his NHL debut vs. the Flyers on Saturday. The 6-foot-6, 220 lbs. winger has scored five goals with two assists (seven points) in 10 AHL games this season.
The Sharks have activated Timo Meier from the COVID-19 reserve list.
Meier has missed the last five games while on the COVID-19 reserve list but should be back in the lineup on Saturday. With Meier back, John Leonard was reassigned to the AHL.

Hamilton (lower-body) is expected to return to the Devils lineup on Thursday.
Hamilton has missed the last three games with a lower-body injury but the Devils anticipate him play on Thursday. Hamilton has two goals with four assists while averaging 21:56 TOI/gm through his first eight games with the Devils.
