Rittich will start Sunday in Detroit.

Rittich was pulled after he allowed four goals on 15 shots in the Flames 8-4 loss to the Blackhawks on February 15th. Cam Talbot ended up starting the last two games but Rittich gets a chance to get back on track with a nice matchup in Detroit. He's lost his last two while giving up a combined eight goals but stopped 27 of 28 shots in a winning effort in his first start vs. the Red Wings.

Pesce (upper-body) is expected to be out for "a long time."

Pesce was hurt midway through Saturday's win over the Maple Leafs and did not return. Head coach Rod Brind'Amour did not have a good update on the 25-year-old defenseman, leaving them without two of their top-4 defenseman for an extended period of time. With the trade deadline on Monday, this injury could change how the Hurricanes operate in the next 24 hours.

The Red Wings hope to get Mantha (ribs) back on Tuesday.

Mantha will not play this afternoon vs. the Bruins but head coach Jeff Blashill is hopeful that he'll return Tuesday in Buffalo. Mantha's return to the lineup would obviously be huge for the Red Wings, as he leads the team in points-per-game (0.83), scoring 12 goals with 12 assists (24 points) in 29 games this year.
