Hischier remains day-to-day and will miss his second straight game with an upper-body ailment. With Hischier out again, Jack Hughes will remain on the Devils' top-line with Taylor Hall and Kyle Palmieri.
Siegenthaler was involved in a collision with teammate Richard Panik on Wednesday night and suffered a shoulder injury. Panik got the worst of it and landed on LTIR on Friday morning but Siegenthaler, who has just one assist in eight games, said he expects to play vs. the Rangers.

The 27-year-old has been inconsistent to begin 2019-20, allowing at least four goals in three starts and less than two goals in the other three starts. Overall, he is 3-2-1 with a 2.80 GAA and .912 SV% and is a must-start against the Red Wings on Thursday.
