Rittich has lost two straight but remains a solid 3-2-1 with a 2.47 GAA and .920 SV% in seven December appearances. Even though he’s been steady all season, Rittich is a risky option in Winnipeg—the Jets are 13-4-2 on home-ice and rank fourth in the NHL in goal-scoring (3.53 GF/pg).

Allen allowed four goals on 28 shots in the Blues loss in Vancouver on Thursday. The Blues will stick with Allen in Calgary and he comes in at 5-5-2 with a 2.41 GAA and .918 SV% on the road this season. The 28-year-old has struggled against the Flames though, going 1-1-0 with a 5.25 GAA and .860 SV% in two games.
Line Change
Lammikko will be a healthy scratch on Saturday.
Lammikko has five assists in 30 games this season but has been held pointless in the last 15 games and 28 of 30 games. Lammikko will be replace by Denis Malgin.

Allen stopped 22 of 23 shots in the Blues win in Edmonton on Tuesday. It was a nice bounce-back performance from Allen, who has now won three of his last four while allowing 11 goals on 106 shots (.896 SV%). In his first start against the Canucks, Allen was yanked after allowing three goals on six shots in a 6-1 loss on December 9th.

It was still a strong performance but the loss snapped a three-game winning streak for Rittich, who has allowed just seven goals on the last 126 shots (.944 SV%) that he has faced. Rittich is 5-0-1 with a 3.09 GAA and .881 SV% in seven appearances at the Scotiabank Saddledome this year.

In his first start vs. the Oilers, Allen allowed two goals on 36 shots in a 3-2 shootout loss.
