Duclair was acquired on Thursday from San Jose and is expected to make his Lightning debut on Saturday vs. Philadelphia. Duclair finds himself on his sixth NHL team but has been enjoying a solid season despite the weak team around him in San Jose, with 16 goals, 27 points, 28 PIMs and a -12 plus/minus in 56 games before the trade.

Duclair has underwhelmed in his first season as a Shark, but will now get the benefit of playing with a demonstrably better surrounding cast in Tampa Bay. The 28-year-old winger had 16 goals and 11 assists in 56 games with San Jose. He will now return to the state of Florida where he spent the previous three seasons playing with the Panthers.

With the impending trade deadline approaching, Duclair might be held out of the lineup in anticipation of a trade. Duclair has managed to be semi-productive for a low-scoring Sharks team this season, tallying 27 points (16G / 11A) in 56 games.

DeAngelo, Brendan Lemieux, and Antti Raanta were all placed on waivers by the Hurricanes on Thursday as the team appears to be clearing cap space ahead of Friday's trade deadline. In 27 games this season, DeAngelo has 10 points (3G / 7A).

A steadying presence on the blue line, Soucy has been limited to only 21 games this season due to an earlier lower-body injury and is five weeks into his original five-to-six-week prognosis. The 29-year-old has six points (2G / 4A), 21 hits, and 39 blocks this season.

Martin exited Saturday's 5-1 victory over the Boston Bruins after playing only 6:37 time-on-ice but will be ready to return to the lineup on Tuesday against the St. Louis Blues. Martin has been held off the scoresheet in 20 consecutive games.

Mayfield has not played since February 22nd after suffering a lower-body injury and has been retroactively placed on LTIR. Before his injury, the 31-year-old defender amassed five points (0G / 5A), 66 hits, and 106 blocks in 41 games.
