Adam Pelech is day-to-day with an upper-body injury.

Pelech left the Islanders' game Tuesday after just 15:37 TOI due to an upper-body injury and is considered day-to-day for the time being. The 28-year-old has been enjoying his most productive statistical season to date, with three goals, eight assists, 24 PIMs and +12 plus/minus through 27 games this season.

Sorokin allowed two goals on 21 shots (.905 SV%) as he took his second straight loss with only two goals against in a defeat to Nashville his last time out. Sorokin is a leading Vezina Candidate this season due to him being second in the NHL in SV% (.932 SV%), third in GAA (2.17) and his 10-7-0 record. He will take on the streaky St. Louis Blues who are on a four-game losing skid and have dropped six of their last seven games.

Palmieri has not played since Nov.20th when he left a game vs. Toronto due to an upper-body injury. The 31-year-old veteran has six goals, nine points and 37 SOG through 20 games so far this season prior to the injury.

Clutterbuck left the Islanders' previous contest after just eight shifts and 4:11 TOI after suffering an upper-body injury vs. Philadelphia. The 35-year-old just made history with the most Hits in NHL history and has two goals, an assist and a +2 plus/minus through 22 games this season. He is considered day-to-day for the time being.
