Highmore played the last two seasons with the Canucks, posting 12 points (5G / 7A) in 46 games a season ago. Signing a two-way contract with the Blues suggests he'll start the 2022-23 season in Springfield (AHL).

Palat spent the first 10 years of his career with the Tampa Bay Lightning after being a seventh-round pick in 2011. Palat is a good complimentary top-6 winger that can play with either Jack Hughes or Nico Hischier in New Jersey. Over the last three seasons, he's averaged 20 goals and 35 assists (55 points) per 82 games.







Duclair, who set new career-highs in goals (31), assists (27) and points (58) during the 2022 season is expected to be out for the first-half of the 2022-23 season after undergoing surgery to repair an Achilles tendon injury. His injury could open the door for someone like Grigori Denisenko to make the Panthers out of training camp.



Schenn missed the final four games of the regular season but was on the third line in Sunday's practice and is expected to play in Game 1. Schenn had 24 goals and 34 assists (58 points) in 62 games this season.



Schenn was on the ice for Thursday's practice and appeared ready to return to the lineup but will sit out for a fourth straight game. Schenn should be ready to play in Game 1 of the postseason.




Pageau has missed the last three games while in COVID-19 protocol but will replace Otto Koivula in the Islanders lineup on Tuesday. Prior to landing in COVID-19 protocol, Pageau had 11 points (6G / 5A) in his previous 15 games.
