Martin was the first goalie off of the ice at the Canucks morning skate.

Martin stopped 28 of 32 shots (.875 SV%) as he beat the Buffalo Sabres in his previous start. The Canucks backup has begun to steal starts due to his 4-1-1 record along with .898 SV% and 3.49 GAA. He faces off against the Colorado Avalanche who have won seven of their last eight games despite being very injured.

Quick led the Kings onto the ice for warmups.

Quick gave up six goals on 30 shots in the Kings loss in Calgary on Monday. Cal Petersen earned a win in Edmonton on Wednesday but the Kings will go back to Quick in Vancouver. Quick has gone 6-5-1 with a 3.09 GAA and .895 SV% in 13 appearances (12 starts) so far this season.

Shesterkin was great in his previous start, stopping 31 of 32 shots (.969 SV%) as he beat the Arizona Coyotes. Last year's Vezina Trophy winner has been solid yet again this season, posting an 8-2-2 record with a 2.40 GAA and a .915 SV%. He draws a favourable matchup vs. the Seattle Kraken who is on a two-game losing streak and ranks 27th in the NHL in shots per game (29.3).

Martin allowed three goals on 34 shots (.912 SV%) as he lost to Toronto 3-2 on Saturday but finds himself back in Vancouver's crease Tuesday vs. Buffalo. Martin has been starting to take starts from Thatcher Demko due to his 3-1-1 record and .902 SV%. He faces off against the Buffalo Sabres who find themselves in the middle of a five-game losing streak.

Sam Carrick has been activated ahead of the Ducks game Tuesday (hip).

Carrick will make his season debut Tuesday as the Ducks take on the Detroit Red Wings. In four games with San Diego (AHL) on a conditioning stint prior to his activation, he had zero points and four PIMs. He will slot in with Kevin Shattenkirk heading to the injured reserve Tuesday.

Parssinen was recalled from Milwaukee (AHL) and will make his NHL debut on Saturday.

Parssinen was a seventh-round pick in 2019 and is in his first year in North America. After posting 32 points (9G / 23A) in 41 games with TPS Turku (Liiga) last year, Parssinen has nine points (2G / 7A) in his first 10 AHL games. He'll immediately step into a prominent role, as he'll skate with Mikael Grandlund and Filip Forsberg in his debut.

Igor Shesterkin will start Thursday vs. Detroit.

Shesterkin allowed four goals for the second straight start and loss as he stopped 22 shots (.846 SV%) in a 4-3 loss to NYI. Last years Vezina Trophy winner is 6-2-2 this season with a .910 SV% and 2.58 GAA. He takes on the Detroit Red Wings who are coming off a 3-2 loss to Montreal but have points in four straight games.

The 36-year-old has struggled this season, collecting a 3.34 GAA and .890 SV% while posting a 4-4-1 record in 10 starts. He takes on the Minnesota Wild Tuesday who were shutout by the Seattle Kraken 4-0 in their previous game.
