Parssinen was recalled from Milwaukee (AHL) and will make his NHL debut on Saturday.

Parssinen was a seventh-round pick in 2019 and is in his first year in North America. After posting 32 points (9G / 23A) in 41 games with TPS Turku (Liiga) last year, Parssinen has nine points (2G / 7A) in his first 10 AHL games. He'll immediately step into a prominent role, as he'll skate with Mikael Grandlund and Filip Forsberg in his debut.

Igor Shesterkin will start Thursday vs. Detroit.

Shesterkin allowed four goals for the second straight start and loss as he stopped 22 shots (.846 SV%) in a 4-3 loss to NYI. Last years Vezina Trophy winner is 6-2-2 this season with a .910 SV% and 2.58 GAA. He takes on the Detroit Red Wings who are coming off a 3-2 loss to Montreal but have points in four straight games.

Korpisalo will start Thursday vs. the Flyers.

Korpisalo lost his only start of the season his last time out, allowing five goals on 45 shots (.889 SV%) in a 5-1 loss to Colorado. He will look to build off his only start as he takes on the Philadelphia Flyers at home Thursday. Philadelphia has won two straight games after taking their last contest 5-1 over St. Louis.

Igor Shesterkin will start Tuesday vs. the Islanders

Shesterkin struggled in his previous start, allowing four goals on 36 shots (.889 SV%) in a loss to Boston. The 2021-22 Vezina trophy winner has been solid this season, holding a 6-1-2 record with a 2.41 GAA and .916 SV% through nine starts. He faces off against state rival, the New York Islanders who is coming off a 4-3 win over Calgary in the first of their back-to-back games Monday.

Martin will start Tuesday in Ottawa.

Martin struggled but won his last start allowing five goals on 31 shots (.839 SV%) vs. Nashville as he picked up his second win of the season (2-0-1) November 3rd. The Canucks backup strongly hurt his numbers with his previous performance, as he now holds a .899 SV% and 3.28 GAA. He will face a struggling Ottawa Senators team who will be hoping to return to win column after losing their last five games.

Martin picked up his first win of the season, stopping 34 of 35 (.971 SV%) in a 5-1 victory over Pittsburgh his last time out. Vancouver's backup has seen limited action this season, posting a 1-0-1 record to go alongside his .926 SV% and 2.44 GAA. He faces the Anaheim Ducks at home Thursday, who is on a two-game winning streak but ranks 30th in the NHL in goals for per game (2.5).

Martin picked up his first win of the season stopping 34 of 35 (.971 SV%) in a 5-1 victory over Pittsburgh his last time out. Vancouver's backup has seen limited action this season, posting a 1-0-1 record to go alongside his .926 SV% and 2.44 GAA. He faces the Anaheim Ducks at home Thursday, who is on a two game winning streak but ranks 30th in the NHL in goals for per game (2.5).

Shesterkin was perfect in his last start, shutting out the Philadelphia Flyers on 19 shots in a 1-0 victory. Last years Vezina winner had started the season strong, owning a 6-0-2 to go with a .921 SV% and 2.22 GAA. He takes on the Boston Bruins who hold the league's best record at 9-1-0 due in part to them leading the league in goals per game (4.4).

Shesterkin played and won the highly unheard-of back-to-back over the weekend as he stopped 18 of 20 shots .900 SVV%) on Sunday for his second win in as many days. Last year's Vezina winner has still yet to lose in regular time through seven starts, taking his 5-0-2 record, 2.55 GAA and .913 SV% into the crease with him Monday. He likely takes on another goalie who is undefeated in regulation in Carter Hart (5-0-1) and the Flyers who are coming off a tough 4-3 overtime loss to Carolina.
