Korpisalo stopped 14 of 15 shots after replacing Elvis Merzlikins in the Blue Jackets 4-3 OT win over the Senators on Monday. He was scheduled to start Tuesday in Minnesota but head coach John Tortorella reneged with Korpisalo recently returning from injury. The 25-year-old comes into Friday at 12-8-1 with a 2.37 GAA, .910 SV% and two shutouts on home ice this year.
Cholowski is expected to replace Gustav Lindstrom, who is out with an undisclosed injury. Cholowski has picked up three goals and nine assists (12 points) in 27 games with the Griffins.
Dowling has not played since January 29th so he'll get a couple of games in inn Texas before being recalled later in the week.

Korpisalo, who was red-hot before he got hurt, stopped 32 of 34 shots in a winning effort in his game with Cleveland. Elvis Merzlikins has had a more difficult time recently, so Korpisalo should get a decent workload upon his return.
Shesterkin stopped 42 of 43 shots in the Rangers win over the Kings on Monday. It was another outstanding outing from the rookie netminder, who is on a three-game winning streak while stopping 92 of the 98 shots (.939 SV%) that he has faced. Tonight he'll look to defeat a Jets team that is on a five-game point streak (4-0-1) while averaging 4.00 goals for and 2.00 goals against per game.
Blidh played in four straight games but will sit this afternoon with Danton Heinen returning from a foot injury. Blidh has yet to record a point in five games with the Bruins.
Jeremy Lauzon is likely facing a suspension, so Vaakanainen is here to replace him in the lineup in Detroit. The 21-year-old, former first-round pick (No.18 overall in 2017) has 12 points (4G / 8A) in 42 AHL games this season.
Shesterkin allowed three goals on 30 shots in the Rangers win over the Maple Leafs on Wednesday. Shesterkin's NHL career is off to a good start, winning four of his first five starts while posting a 2.61 GAA and .922 SV%. Tonight he faces a Kings team that has lost nine of their last 10 (1-8-1) while scoring just 1.80 goals per game.
Shesterkin allowed two goals one 25 shots in the Rangers win over the Red Wings last Friday. Shesterkin has performed very well early in his NHL career, going 3-1-0 with a 2.51 GAA and .927 SV% in his first four starts. However, Wednesday will be his stiffest test yet. The Maple Leafs come in averaging the second-most goals with the third-best power-play since Christmas. With Michael Hutchinson in the other crease, Shesterkin is a good candidate for the win but will likely give up three or four goals.
