Tonight will be his first start since December 29th and he comes in at 18-10-4 with a 2.48 GAA and .914 SV% on the season. Joonas Korpisalo
The Blue Jackets have activated Joonas Koprisalo from IR and recalled him from Cleveland (AHL).

Korpisalo has been out since December 29th but comes back up after a one-game conditioning stint. Korpisalo, who was red-hot before he got hurt, stopped 32 of 34 shots in a winning effort in his game with Cleveland. Elvis Merzlikins has had a more difficult time recently, so Korpisalo should get a decent workload upon his return.

Shesterkin will start Tuesday in Winnipeg.

Shesterkin stopped 42 of 43 shots in the Rangers win over the Kings on Monday. It was another outstanding outing from the rookie netminder, who is on a three-game winning streak while stopping 92 of the 98 shots (.939 SV%) that he has faced. Tonight he'll look to defeat a Jets team that is on a five-game point streak (4-0-1) while averaging 4.00 goals for and 2.00 goals against per game.

Shesterkin will start Wednesday vs. the Maple Leafs.

Shesterkin allowed two goals one 25 shots in the Rangers win over the Red Wings last Friday. Shesterkin has performed very well early in his NHL career, going 3-1-0 with a 2.51 GAA and .927 SV% in his first four starts. However, Wednesday will be his stiffest test yet. The Maple Leafs come in averaging the second-most goals with the third-best power-play since Christmas. With Michael Hutchinson in the other crease, Shesterkin is a good candidate for the win but will likely give up three or four goals.
