The 34-year-old has gone 3-4-0 with a 3.16 GAA and .896 SV% in January and 0-1-1 with a 1.93 GAA and .938 SV% vs. the Rangers this season.

Brassard missed Tuesday’s game with an illness, but practiced on Thursday and is expected to play in Carolina. Brassard has no points in he last three games but 31 points (15G / 16A) in 45 games this season.

With Sergei Bobrovsky suffering a lower-body injury on Thursday, Forsberg has been recalled from Lake Erie. Forsberg has gone 1-3-0 with a 3.03 GAA and .907 SV% with the Blue Jackets and 13-7-3 wit ha 2.56 GAA and .906 SV% with Lake Erie.
