Linus Ullmark will start Tuesday at Buffalo.

The Bruins have followed their pattern of goalie rotations all season and as such, Ullmark will start on Tuesday against his former team, the Buffalo Sabres. After allowing five goals on 40 shots (.875 SV%) in a 5-4 loss to the Detroit Red Wings, Ullmark bounced back with a stellar effort, saving 27 of 29 (.931 SV%) in a 5-2 victory over the New York Islanders. Hunter Shepard has been recalled from Hershey (AHL).

28-year-old Hunter Shepard played his first career NHL game earlier this season, saving 18 of 22 shots in a 6-4 win over the New Jersey Devils. It is unclear if his call-up is due to a potential injury for Darcy Kuemper or Charlie Lindgren, but if either of them is unable to dress for the Capitals, expect Shepard to serve as the teams' backup goalie.
