Ullmark will start Monday vs. the Panthers.

Ullmark draws the daunting task of taking on the Florida Panthers in a battle of 2-0-0 Atlantic Division squads at home Monday. The eight-year veteran was lights out in his opening night victory over Washington, stopping 33 of 35 shots on way to a 5-2 Bruins win. He draws his second start of the season after splitting the opening two games with Jeremy Swayman.

The Senators have signed Jacob Larsson to a one-year, two-way contract.

Larsson is a former first-round pick (No.27 overall in 2015) who has 165 career NHL games under his belt, all with the Anaheim Ducks. However, he spent almost all of 2021-22 in the AHL, where he had two goals and 13 assists (15 points) in 55 games. The Senators' blueline is very thin, so Larsson could see some NHL playing time in 2022-23.

The Senators have signed Kristians Rubins to a one-year, two-way contract.

Rubins spent the first four years of his career with the Maple Leafs but moves to their Ontario rival on a one-year deal with the Senators. He played in his first three career NHL games a season ago but will likely be an AHL player in 2022-23. He had 11 points (1G / 10A) in 58 games with the Toronto Marlies last year.

The Sabres have signed Craig Anderson to a one-year, $1.5 million contract extension.

Anderson, who recently turned 41-years-old, went 17-12-2 with a 3.12 GAA and .897 SV% in 31 games with the Sabres in 2022. Signing a one-year deal gives the Sabres a reliable veteran netminder that can mentor Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen in the 2022-23 season.
