Chabot (forearm) underwent surgery on Thursday and is expected to be out for the next 4-8 weeks.

Chabot exited Monday's 2-1 win over the New York Rangers after only 10:21 time-on-ice because due to an injury. He has since undergone surgery to address the issue and will effectively be sidelined for the remainder of the regular season and beyond. The 29-year-old defenseman has 31 points (7G / 24A) in 55 games this season.

Ullmark will start in Detroit on Tuesday.

Ullmark will start the tail-end of Ottawa's back-to-back tonight after getting the night off on Monday. Ullmark secured the victory in his last outing, stopping 12 of the 14 shots he faced in a 5-2 win over the Maple Leafs on Sunday. The 32-year-old carries a 22-10-7 record and an .885 SV% into Tuesday night's must-win game in Detroit, where the Sens enter action at +105 on the money line.

Yakemchuk has been recalled Belleville (AHL).

With injuries piling up on Ottawa's blueline, the team has recalled Yakemchuk, their seventh-overall pick from the 2024 NHL Entry Draft. The 20-year-old defenseman has yet to play an NHL game, but has been solid in his first professional season, scoring 36 points (10G / 26A) in 50 games with Belleville (AHL).

Sanderson (upper-body) has resumed skating and could be back in roughly 7-to-10 days.

Sanderson was labeled as week-to-week when he suffered an upper-body injury in Seattle on March 7th. Head coach Travis Green told reporters on Saturday that Sanderson is skating again and could be back in roughly 7-to-10 days, which means he'll miss about five or six more games if all goes well.

Ullmark will start Saturday vs. the Maple Leafs.

Ullmark allowed two goals on 23 shots in the Senators' loss in Washington on Wednesday. James Reimer gave him a night off on Thursday, but the Senators will come back to Ullmark tonight vs. Toronto. It has been an up-and-down season for Ullmark, and he comes into Saturday at 5-2-2 with a 2.57 GAA, .892 SV% and one shutout since the Olympic break. He's a great option on Saturday with Ottawa coming in as massive -275 home favourites vs. their provisional rivals.

Ersson will start in Los Angeles on Thursday.

The Flyers have relied heavily on Dan Vladar since returning from the Olympic break, but they will turn to Ersson, who has played well lately, on Thursday against the Los Angeles Kings. The 26-year-old Ersson saved 22 of 23 shots (.957 SV%) in his most recent outing, a 4-1 win over the Washington Capitals, and has saved 47 of the last 50 shots he's faced (.940 SV%) across three appearances (2-0-0). The Flyers enter Thursday's contest as +149 road underdogs against a Kings team coming off a 4-1 win over the New York Rangers.

Ullmark will start in Washington on Wednesday.

The Senators have been one of the NHL's hottest teams over the past few weeks, largely thanks to Ullmark's improved play. Since returning from a prolonged personal leave of absence in late January, the 32-year-old Swedish goalie has just one regulation loss in 10 games (7-1-2), posting a serviceable 2.40 GAA and .897 SV%. The Senators enter Wednesday's contest as -125 road favourites against a Washington Capitals team that has struggled offensively, scoring two or fewer goals in six of their last seven games (2-4-1).

Eklund (lower-body) is on the ice for warmups and is expected to play in Boston on Thursday.

Eklund was absence from practice on Wednesday and his status for Thursday's game against the Boston Bruins was up in the air. The 23-year-old Swedish forward has 38 points (11G / 27A) in 58 games this season, but has been held off the scoresheet in three straight.

Ullmark will start vs. Montreal on Wednesday.

Ullmark has battled some adversity in recent games, allowing four or more goals twice in his last three, but has salvaged a 2-0-1 record despite posting a subpar 3.29 GAA and .872 SV%. That said, the 32-year-old Swedish goalie has played reasonably well since returning from a multi-week personal leave of absence in late January, posting a 2.41 GAA and .896 SV% in seven games (5-0-2). The Senators enter Wednesday's contest as -190 home favourites against a Montreal Canadiens team with points in three straight games (2-0-1).

Ersson will start vs. Washington on Wednesday.

Ersson has not played much since returning from the Olympic break, limited to just one start, but he was solid in that outing, saving 22 of 24 shots (.917 SV%) in a 3-2 overtime win over the New York Rangers. That said, consistency has been an issue with Ersson, who has an ugly 3.54 GAA and .863 SV% in his last 10 appearances (3-4-1). The Flyers enter the action on Wednesday as slight +108 home underdogs against a Washington Capitals team that is coming off a 7-3 win over the Calgary Flames to snap a three-game losing streak.
