Eller left Game 2 with a lower-body injury and did not return. Eller played just 9:38 TOI before retiring to the dressing room. Head coach Peter Laviolette called him day-to-day, so his status for Game 3 is up in the air.

Perron appeared in all 56 games this season but will miss the first game of the playoffs due to COVID-19 protocol. With Perron out, Brayden Schenn and Jaden Schwartz will move up to the top line to skate with Ryan O'Reilly.

MacEwen was handed a one-game suspension for kneeing Darnell Nurse but will draw back into the lineup on Monday. MacEwen will replace Kole Lind in the bottom-6.

Jeník was a third-round pick of the Coyotes in 2018 and is set to make his NHL debut on Friday. The 20year-old has scored four goals with seven assists (11 points) in 27 games with Tucson (AHL) this season. He will likely start in the Coyotes' bottom-6.

Chabot left Monday's game after playing just 2:57 TOI and will likely miss the rest of the season. The Senators said that his injury is nothing serious but there's no reason to put him in harm's way with them out of the playoff race.

Formenton missed Saturday's game in Montreal but will play tonight vs. the Jets. The speedy winger has scored three goals with two assists (five points) in 16 games this season.

Ullmark was forced to leave Tuesday's game in Boston with a lower-body injury and is week-to-week. This is a terrible break for the Sabres, who could have moved him at the trade deadline but wanted to work on an extension. However, they're well out of the playoff race and it's better for them to play it safe with Ullmark's health.

Pinto skated on the fourth line with Connor Brown and Alex Formenton in Friday's practice and will replace Michael Amadio in the lineup on Saturday. Pinto was the No.32 overall pick in 2019 and scored 15 goals with 17 assists (32 points) in 28 games in his second season at the University of North Dakota.
