Ullmark allowed three goals on 32 shots in the Sabres win in San Jose on Saturday. The Sabres broke their goalie rotation on Thursday but that leaves Ullmark to start the tail-end of a back-to-back in Detroit. The 26-year-old is 2-1-1 with a 3.18 GAA and .913 SV% in his first four starts of the year and has had a lot of success vs. Detroit in his career—3-0-2 with a 2.50 GAA and .924 SV%.

Anderson stopped 33 of 34 shots in the Senators' loss to the Wild on Monday. After a tough start to the season, Anderson has played well in his last two outings. The veteran netminder has stopped 52 of the last 55 shots (.945 SV%) that he has faced but he remains a risky option against a Coyotes team that is in the top-10 in shots per game (33.3) right now.

Cousins had 27 points (7G / 20A) in 81 games with the Coyotes last year and signed a one-year, $1.0M AAV deal with the Canadiens this summer. Cousins will make his Montreal debut on the fourth line with Nate Thompson and Nick Suzuki.

Hawryluk has been in the lineup for the last four games, posting a minus-3 rating, two shots and two PIMS while averaging just 7:54 TOI/gm. Hawryluk will be replaced by Henrik Borgstrom in the Panthers’ bottom-6.

Anderson stopped 19 of 21 shots in the Senators’ surprising win over the Lightning on Saturday. It was Anderson’s first win of the season and earned him another start this afternoon. Anderson has gone 1-1-0 while stopping 45 of 51 shots (.882 SV%) in two starts in Ottawa this season. Today he will take on a Wild team that is 0-4-0 while averaging just 2.50 goals per game to start 2019-20.

Abramov scored a goal in his season debut but returns to the AHL with Mikkel Boedker likely taking his spot in the lineup on Monday. Abramov didn’t have a point in his AHL season debut but had seven points (4G / 3A) in 18 AHL games last year.

Anderson surrendered four goals on 30 shots in the Senators' loss to the Rangers last Saturday. Anders Nilsson started on Thursday, so they’ll come back to Anderson today vs. the Lightning. He should be left on the bench/free agency against a Tampa Bay team that just destroyed Toronto and is averaging 4.50 goals per game through four games.

Ullmark allowed four goals on 40 shots in the Sabres overtime loss in Columbus on Monday. Ullmark was the Sabres’ best player on the ice by a wide margin and earned himself another start tonight vs. the Sabres. The 26-year-old was 8-6-3 with a 3.48 GAA, .893 SV% and one shutout in 17 games at KeyBank Center last season.

Cousins has not played in the first two games of the season and suffered a back injury in Monday’s practice. Cousins will not travel to Buffalo for Wednesday’s game, so expect their lineup to remain the same from Saturday’s win in Toronto.

Ullmark appeared in a career-high 37 games in 2019-20, going 15-14-5 with a 3.11 GAA and .905 SV%. Carter Hutton has had a strong start to the season, but the Sabres view this as a good time to get Ullmark into the crease. He’ll face a Blue Jackets team that has started the season at 0-2 while being outscored 11-3.

Abramov made his NHL debut with the Senators last year but opened the year with Belleville. With Filip Chlapik and Drake Batherson being re-assigned on Sunday, Abramov comes up and will likely be in the lineup on Thursday. Abramov had 29 points (16G / 13A) in 70 AHL games last season.

Batherson was held without a point and shot while posting a minus-4 rating in the first two games of the 2019-20 season. He heads to Belleville, where he led the team with 62 points (22G / 40A) in 59 games last season.

Hawryluk, 23, split his 2019 campaign between the AHL and NHL. During his time with the Panthers, he had seven goals and five assists (12 points) in 42 games. While with Springfield, he tallied 32 points (8G / 24A) in 31 games. He will replace Denis Malgin in the lineup on Saturday.

Anderson allowed five goals on 42 shots in the Senators 5-3 loss in Toronto on Wednesday. It was a tough matchup to start the season and things won’t get any easier on Saturday—the Rangers just hung six goals on the Jets on Thursday. Anderson was 13-12-12 with a 3.01 GAA and .917 SV% in 27 starts on home-ice last season.

Anderson appeared in 50 games last season, going 17-27-4 with a 3.51 GAA and .903 SV%. Playing for the league’s weakest team makes Anderson as risky of a goalie option as you will find in fantasy and an opening night meeting with the Maple Leafs must be avoided. Surprisingly, he was 2-1-0 despite a 3.36 GAA and .910 SV% vs. Toronto last season.

The Avalanche bolster their goaltending depth a bit by adding the 25-year-old Bibeau. The former sixth-round pick was 16-18-3 with a 2.89 GAA and .904 SV% with the San Jose Barracuda (AHL) last year. He will report to the Colorado Eagles.
