Forsberg leads the Blackhawks onto the ice for warmups.

Forsberg was yanked after he allowed three goals on six shots in the Blackhawks loss in Winnipeg last Thursday. Forsberg has struggled as of late, going 2-2-0 with a 4.01 GAA and .876 SV% in March. Tonight he faces the Avalanche for a second time—he was pulled after he allowed five goals on 20 shots in a 6-3 loss in Colorado in late-October.

Anderson will start Tuesday vs. the Panthers.

Anderson allowed two goals on 25 shots in the Senators win over the Stars last Friday. Anderson has played well in March, going 4-0-1 with a 2.70 GAA and .912 SV% as the Senators seem to have figured it out just a little too late. One of those wins came against the Panthers, who he’ll face again tonight—he stopped 35 of 38 shots in a 5-3 win in Florida last Monday.

Ullmark will start Monday vs. the Predators.

Ullmark was outstanding in his season debut back on January 11th. Ullmark, who is the Sabres goalie of the future, stopped 44 of 45 shots in a 3-1 win over the Blue Jackets and tonight he will make his second NHL start of 2018. The 24-year-old has gone 20-11-4 with a 2.44 GAA, .923 SV% and two shutouts in 42 games with Rochester (AHL) this season.

Anderson allowed three goals on 38 shots in the Senators win in Florida on Monday. Anderson has now won three of his last four starts while posting a 2.91 GAA and .910 SV%. One of those wins came against the Stars, who he will face again tonight—he stopped 31 of 33 shots in a 3-2 OT win in Dallas on March 5th.

The Sabres have recalled Linus Ullmark from Rochester (AHL).

Ullmark has gone 20-11-4 with a 2.44 GAA and .923 SV% in 42 games with Rochester this season. He stopped 44 of 45 shots in a wing effort in his only start with the Sabres this season. Ullmark is the Sabres’ goalie of the future and could get a few starts down the stretch.

Anderson allowed three goals on 34 shots in the Senators loss to the Sabres on Thursday. The loss snapped a brief two-game winning streak for Anderson, who was given Friday night off. The veteran netminder has a terrible matchup in Florida—the Panthers come in having gone 8-0-1 in their last nine contests.

Forsberg will start Sunday afternoon vs. the Bruins.

Forsberg allowed four goals on 21 shots in the Blackhawks loss in Anaheim last Sunday. J-F Berube has started the last three games, including last night, so the Blackhawks will come back to Forsberg this afternoon. The 25-year-old has gone 3-6-1 with a 2.41 GAA and .925 SV% at the United Center this season.

Anderson will start Thursday vs. the Sabres.

Anderson allowed two goals on 33 shots in the Senators win in Dallas on Monday. Anderson has won two straight, stopping 56 of the last 62 shots (.903 SV%) that he has faced. Tonight he will face the Sabres on the tail-end of a back-to-back—Anderson stopped 23 of 25 shots in a 3-2 OT win in his first start vs. Buffalo.

The Stars are one of the best home teams in hockey and Anderson is 6-9-2 with a 3.19 GAA and .904 SV% on the road this year.

Forsberg allowed one goal on six shots after replacing J-F Berube in the Blackhawks loss in San Jose on Thursday. The road has been tough on Forsberg this season, as he’s gone 4-7-2 with a 3.31 GAA and .896 SV% in 13 away starts and three relief appearances. He is also 0-2-0 with a 2.07 GAA and .926 SV% vs. the Kings this season.

Anderson allowed five goals on 39 shots in the Senators loss to the Flyers on Saturday. Anderson has lost his last three starts while posting a 4.75 GAA and .865 SV%. Anderson seemingly can’t turn his disastrous 2017-18 season around and will be in tough tonight in Vegas. Anderson is 5-9-2 with a 3.14 GAA and .906 SV% on the road.

Highmore was recalled from Rockford (AHL) and is expected to make his NHL debut on Thursday.

Highmore, 22, was an undrafted free agent that signed with the Blackhawks after five seasons with the Sant John Sea Dogs (QMJHL). In his first AHL season, Highmore has scored 21 goals with 14 assists (35 points) in 56 games. He’ll get a look down the stretch.

Brassard will make his Penguins debut on Tuesday.

After being acquired from the Senators on February 23rd, Brassard missed the first two games with the Penguins while resolving his visa issues. Brassard had 18 goals and 20 assists (38 points) in 58 games with Ottawa and should centre a lethal third line behind Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin—he could also play alongside sniper Phil Kessel.
