Following the additions of Steven Stamkos and Jonathan Marchessault in the offseason, Tomasino is going to be battling for a bottom-6 spot in the lineup in training camp.

Luchanko was selected No.13 overall in this summer's NHL Draft. The 17-year-old forward from London, Ontario, had 20 goals and 54 assists (74 points) in 68 games with the Guelph Storm (OHL) this season. Look for him to return to the OHL for the 2024-25 season.
Grundstrom's rights were acquired by San Jose at last weeks NHL draft in a trade for Kyle Burroughs and has signed a two-year. $3.6 million contract ($1,800,000 AAV). The 26-year-old right-winger just finished his sixth NHL season with Los Angeles and had eight goals, 12 points, 95 SOG and 12 PIMs in 50 games played.
Brink broke into the NHL finally in 2023-24 after two full seasons in the AHL and has earned himself a two-year, $3 million contract extension ($1,500,000 AAV). The 22-year-old right-winger was Phildaelphia's 2019 2nd-round pick (34th overall) and had 11 goals, 23 points, 81 SOG and 10 PIMs in 57 games in 2023-24.
Richard will join his sixth organization in five years after he signed a two-year, two-way contract with Philadelphia on Tuesday. The 27-year-old played in nine games with Boston in 2023-24, picking up a goal, three points and two PIMs while averaging 10:36 TOI/GP. He has four goals and eight points in 24 career NHL games.
Michkov surprised the hockey world by terminating his contract with SKA St. Petersburgh (KHL) and signing a three-year, entry-level contract with Philadelphia. The 19-year-old is Phildaelphia's 2023 1st-round pick (7th overall) and had 19 goals and 41 points in 47 games with HK Sochi (KHL) while on loan last season.
Hathaway will stay in Philadelphia after a successful first season with the Flyers and has signed a two-year, $4.8 million ($2,400,000 AAV) contract extension on Monday. The 32-year-old veteran is entering his ninth NHL season and had seven goals, 17 points and 103 SOG in 82 games played in 2023-24.
Grundstrom appeared in 50 games during the 2023-24 season, scoring eight goals with four assists (12 points). Grundstrom has always been a fringe roster player for the Kings but should earn a more permanent role with the Sharks. Guenette appeared in seven games for Ottawa in 2023-24 and signed a one-year, two-way contract on Tuesday to remain with the Senators into the 2024-25 season. The 23-year-old was Ottawa's 2019 seventh-round pick (187th overall) and has appeared in eight total NHL games in his career and is without a point.
Ginning played 67 combined games between Philadelphia and Lehigh Valley (AHL) in 2023-24 and has signed a two-year, two-way contract to remain with the Flyers. The 24-year-old defenseman made his NHL debut in 2022-23 and has one goal in 10 NHL games played. He is likely to take on a bigger role with the Flyers in 2024-25.
Abols spent the 2023-24 season with Rogle BK (SHL) and signed a one-year, two-way contract worth $775,000 with Philadelphia on Saturday. The 28-year-old Centre was drafted in the seventh round of the 2016 draft (184th overall) many moons ago and last played in North America with the Greenville Swamp Rabbits (ECHL) in 2019-20.
Juulsen appears to be a healthy scratch for Game 5 as Carson Soucy returns from a one-game suspension. The 27-year-old has appeared in two playoff games prior to his scratch on Thursday, with zero points, four PIMs and one SOG while averaging only 12:54 TOI/GP.
Juulsen will play in his second game of the postseason, replacing Carson Soucy, who is serving his one-game suspension. Expect Juulsen to come out of the lineup for Game 5 with Soucy eligible to play.
