


Acciari, 25, is a hard-hitting bottom-6 forward who had five points (2G / 3A) in 29 games with the Bruins and added 14 points (6G / 8A) in 30 AHL games with Providence. Acciari will likely break training camp in a Boston uniform.

Tippett might be the best pure goal scorer in this draft class. He has great quickness and an NHL-level shot that saw him lead the Mississauga Steelheads in both goals (44) and points (75).




Acciari, 25, has appeared in 19 games with the Bruins this season, collecting two assists. The 25-year-old has spent the majority of the year with Providence, where he has 14 points (6G / 8A) in 30 games. He was recalled on Sunday because Patrice Bergeron, Drew Stafford and Tim Schaller were all missing from yesterday’s practice.

Konecny has been sidelined since February 6th, but will return to the lineup tonight in Washington. Konecny has had a nice rookie season, scoring seven goals and 15 assists (22 points) in 51 games. Konecny will likely replace Dale Weise or Matt Read in the lineup.

Konecny will miss his ninth straight game with a lower-body injury, but is at least one week ahead of schedule. Monitor his status prior to Saturday’s game in Washington.

Konecny was already slated to miss 4-6 weeks, so his movement to IR was simply a formality to create a roster spot for the Flyers to recall Jordan Weal from Lehigh Valley (AHL). Konecny is expected to be out until at least early-to-mid March.

Konecny sat out as a healthy scratch for two games and then got hurt after playing just 8:13 TOI in his return to the lineup last night. Konecny will miss at least one month and will be replaced by Matt Read on Thursday.


Konecny will come out of the lineup tonight and Dale Weise will be back in. Konecny has just one assist in his last seven games and will join Shayne Gostisbehere in the press box tonight.

Thompson has not appeared in a game this season, but went to San Diego on a conditioning stint after being cleared to return from an Achilles injury. Thompson registered one assist in three AHL games and could make his season debut on Tuesday.

Konecny had two assists in St. Louis on Wednesday, but will sit tonight in San Jose. Konecny has had a solid rookie season, but will come out of the lineup tonight and Michael Raffl will be back in the lineup.

Couturier will be back in the Flyers’ lineup tonight and will skate on the third line with Nick Cousins and Dale Weise. Couturier is an excellent two-way centre and enters Wednesday with eight points (5G / 3A) in 20 games this season.

Couturier has missed the last 16 games because of an MCL sprain, but it looks like he will be back in the lineup on Wednesday. The Flyers’ two-way centre is expected to slide back into his spot on the second line and comes into play with eight points (5G / 3A) in 20 games this season. Couturier has been sidelined with a sprained MCL but has been working out on the ice recently and expects to be back after the Christmas break and before the New Year kicks in. Couturier’s two-way game will help a Flyers team that is already playing very well. He scored five goals with three assists (eight points) in 20 games before getting hurt.

Acciari has been sidelined since November 7th and has been recalled after a one-game conditioning stint with Providence. Acciari has two assists in 12 games with the Bruins this season and will be in the lineup tonight vs. Toronto.
