Skinner was placed on the non-roster list Tuesday as he left the team to be with his wife for the birth of their first son. The 24-year-old will be missed, as he has taken over the starting gig in Edmonton due to his strong play resulting in his 12-10-2 record, 2.96 GAA and .914 SV%.

Koppanen had five goals, 19 points, 22 PIMs and a +10 plus/minus rating through 34 games this season with the Providence Bruins (AHL) and earned his first career NHL call-up Wednesday. The 24-year-old has yet to experience any NHL action throughout his career so when cracks the Bruins' lineup Thursday, he will be making his long-awaited debut.

With Nicklas Backstrom and Tom Wilson making their season debuts on Sunday, Mantha and Nicolas Aube-Kubel will be healthy scratches vs. the Blue Jackets. Mantha has four points (1G / 3A) while playing 13:22 ATOI in his last nine games.






Letang will step away from the Penguins due to the passing of his father Monday. It has been a tough season for the 35-year-old who just returned to Pittsburgh's lineup after dealing with his second career stroke. He had two goals, 14 assists, 57 SOG and was -12 through 29 games prior to him stepping aside.

Bemstrom was recalled from Cleveland (AHL) after an impressive 14 goals and 17 assists in 21 games with the Monsters and will return to the Blue Jackets lineup Thursday vs. the New York Islanders. Bemstrom will draw into the first line with Johnny Gaudreau and Jack Roslovic and will be hoping to add to the two goals and two assists he had in seven games earlier in the season.

Graves left the Devils' previous game after only 1:03 TOI due to an undisclosed injury and is now considered week-to-week. The 27-year-old had three goals, six assists, 49 SOG and a +18 plus/minus through 33 games prior to the injury.
