Caleb Jones will play Tuesday vs. the Florida Panthers after missing last game (healthy scratch)

Caleb Jones returns to the Blackhawks lineup to replace Filip Roos on Tuesday. Jones will return after missing his second game of the early season in Chicago's 5-4 win over Seattle Sunday. Through three games this season he is averaging 16:59 TOI while yet to collect his first point of the campaign.

Skinner is expected to start Tuesday vs. the Sabres.

Skinner should draw his first start of the season Tuesday as the Oilers host the Sabres on home ice. The Edmonton native was phenomenal in relief of Jack Campbell Saturday stopping all 31 of 31 shots while limiting the damage in the Oilers' 4-3 loss to Calgary. He enjoyed a strong first rookie season in 2021-22, collecting a .913 SV% while winning six of 12 starts.

The Penguins have re-signed Evgeni Malkin to a four-year deal worth $24.4 million ($6.1M AAV).

Malkin has spent his entire 16-year career in Pittsburgh, totalling 1146 points (444G / 702A) in 981 games. At 36 years old, Malkin is still one of the NHL's best points-per-game players but injuries remain a huge issue for the Russian centre. In the last three seasons, Malkin has missed a combined 78 games (37.7% of the games) but was 17th in the NHL in points-per-game (1.12) over that span.
