It's been an inconsistent season for Silovs, but he's been solid since the start of January, going 9-4-2 with a 2.55 GAA and .90 SV%. He should be a trustworthy option on Saturday against the Jets, where Pittsburgh find themselves as -152 home favourites.

D'Aigle was a third-round pick of the Penguins in the 2025 NHL Draft, and has gone 14-21-3 with a 3.58 GAA and .908 SV% in 39 games with Victoriaville Tigres (QMJHL) this season.

Alexander Alexeyev has been reassigned to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AHL) in a corresponding move.

Already without Sidney Crosby (lower body), the Penguins fared reasonably well while Malkin served a five-game suspension, going 2-1-2, but they will be eager to get him back into the lineup on Monday against the Colorado Avalanche. The 39-year-old Malkin has 47 points (13G / 34A) in 46 games this season.
