Price missed Saturday’s practice with an illness.

Price reportedly played sick on Thursday so the Canadiens were likely just giving him the day off and he should be in no danger of missing Sunday’s contest with the Canucks, unless the illness progresses. Keep an eye on his status on Sunday morning.

The Senators have recalled Colin White from Belleville (AHL).

White, 20, missed the start of the season after fracturing his wrist in the preseason. Upon returning to Belleville’s lineup, White collected 13 points (5G / 8A) in 27 games. Look for the 2015 No.21 overall pick to make his season debut on Saturday.

Price allowed two goals on 33 shots in the Canadiens loss in Florida on Saturday. Price lost all three starts last week while posting a 2.40 GAA and .931 SV%. Tonight he will face a Sharks team on home-ice—San Jose has lost five of their last six road games (1-4-1).

He will be in tough starting for the second night in a row against the top offence in the NHL—Price has gone 4-7-0 with a 3.59 GAA and .895 SV% on the road this season.

Wennberg is expected to miss 4-6 weeks with a back injury.

Wennberg suffered the injury last Thursday in Pittsburgh and after being scratched from Saturday’s game vs. the Flyers, the Blue Jackets announced that he is expected to miss at least one month. Wennberg was placed on IR and Lukas Sedlak will likely move up to the third line while Wennberg is out.

Price yielded five goals on 39 shots in the Canadiens win in Vancouver on Tuesday. It wasn’t the greatest outing for Price, who has won seven of his last 11 starts with a 2.41 GAA, .928 SV% and one shutout. In his first start vs. the Flames this season, Price stopped 34 of 37 shots in a 3-2 overtime loss.

The Canadiens struggled outdoors and Price took the “L” for the fourth time in five games—posting a 3.21 GAA and .907 SV% in the process. Price doesn’t see the Canucks often, but Price has had success against them in recent years.

The win snapped a three-game losing streak for Price, who has won six of nine starts with a 2.14 GAA, .933 SV% and one shutout since returning from injury. He will start tongiht's outdoor game where temperatures are expected to dip under minus-20 Celsius.

Price was yanked after allowing four goals on 14 shots in the Canadiens loss to the Oilers last Saturday. After winning five in a row upon his return to the crease, Price has now lost there in a row while allowing a combined 11 goals on 90 shots (.889 SV%). Despite his recent struggles, Price has a good matchup tonight with the Taylor Hall-less Devils in town.

Brossoit will start Thursday vs. the Predators.

Brossoit allowed two goals on 29 shots in the Oilers blowout win in Columbus on Tuesday. Brossoit has been excellent in his last three appearances, going 2-1-0 while allowing just five goals on 76 shots (.934 SV%). The young netminder is still searching for his first win on home ice this season but will be in tough tonight with the Predators in town.

Brossoit stopped 22 of 23 shots in the Oilers loss in Toronto on Sunday. After some really rough starts, Brossoit played great over the weekend, stopping 44 of the 47 shots (.936 SV%) that he faced to go 1-1-0. Tonight he will be in tough in Columbus—the Blue Jackets are 6-1-0 in their last seven games on home ice.
