Comrie will start in Buffalo on Monday.

The Jets have struggled without Connor Hellebuyck (knee), but finally recorded their first win in five games without him (1-4-0), a 5-2 victory over the Nashville Predators, in which Comrie saved 20 of 22 shots (.909 SV%). The Jets will hope Comrie's first win as their de facto starting netminder will give him momentum to improve on his 2.91 GAA and .898 SV% in nine games (5-4-0) this season. The Jets enter Monday's contest as +101 road underdogs against a Buffalo Sabres team that has scored two or fewer goals in three straight games (1-2-0).

Dickinson will draw back into San Jose's lineup vs. Utah on Monday.

Nick Leddy will be a healthy scratch on Monday against the Utah Mammoth, allowing Dickinson to re-enter the lineup. The 19-year-old Dickinson has played 19 games this season, averaging 14:30 time-on-ice and scoring two points (1G / 1A).

Askarov will start vs. Utah on Monday.

After an ugly 6-0 loss to the Colorado Avalanche, allowing four goals on 19 shots (.789 SV%), Asakrov responded in his most recent outing with a 32-save performance (.941 SV%) in a 3-2 win over the Vancouver Canucks. The 23-year-old rookie netminder capped off an impressive November with a 1.88 GAA and .944 SV% in 10 games (8-2-0). Asakrov returns to the crease on Monday, with the Sharks entering their game against the Utah Mammoth as +144 home underdogs.

Yaroslav Askarov
Askarov will start vs. Vancouver on Friday.

Askarov's outstanding November came to an end in San Jose's most recent game, allowing four goals on 19 shots (.789 SV%) before being pulled in an eventual 6-0 loss to the powerhouse Colorado Avalanche. Before that, Askarov was nearly perfect on an eight-game stretch (7-1-0), posting a sensational 1.50 GAA and .955 SV%. The Sharks look to rebound on Friday against a struggling Vancouver Canucks team that snapped a three-game losing skid on Wednesday with a 5-4 win over the Anaheim Ducks.

Askarov will start in Colorado on Wednesday.

After an awful 0-4-2 start to the season, the Sharks have turned things around and find themselves flirting with playoff contention after a subsequent 11-5-1 stretch. Much of their success can be attributed to the outstanding play of Askarov, who will return to the crease on Wednesday against the Colorado Avalanche. The 23-year-old Askarov has allowed two or fewer goals in seven of his last eight games (7-1-0), posting a terrific 1.50 GAA and .955 SV%. That said, the Sharks enter Wednesday's contest as significant +317 road underdogs against the league-leading Avalanche, who are riding a nine-game winning streak.

Comrie will start in Washington on Wednesday.

Comrie has started both games since Connor Hellebuyck (knee) announced out for the next 4-6 weeks, but has not produced favourable results in those games (0-2-0), allowing seven goals on 58 combined shots (.879 SV%). The 30-year-old Comrie has a 2.87 GAA and .899 SV% through seven games this season (4-3-0). He has never started more than 20 games in a season, a total that he should have no problem surpassing in 2025-26. The Jets enter Wednesday's contest as +129 road underdogs against a Washington Capitals team that has scored five or more goals in three of their last four games (3-1-0).

Toffoli (illness) is questionable vs. Colorado on Wednesday.

Toffoli could be at risk of missing his first game of the season on Wednesday as he is battling an illness. The 33-year-old Toffoli snapped a five game pointless skid in his most recent game, tallying an assist. He has 12 points (5G / 7A) in 23 games this season.

Tyler Toffoli
Comrie will start against the Hurricanes on Friday.

With Connor Hellebuyck sidelined for several weeks after undergoing a minor Arthroscopic knee procedure, Comrie will likely see a heavy workload for the Jets, starting with Friday's game against the Carolina Hurricanes. Comrie started a career-high 20 games last season, a total he will surely surpass with Hellebuyck out of the lineup. The 30-year-old Comrie has been solid in limited action this season, posting a 2.60 GAA and .908 SV% in five games (4-1-0). The Jets enter Friday's contest as +138 road underdogs against a Hurricanes team that has points in eight of its last 10 games (6-2-2).
