Dellandrea's rights were acquired by San Jose last week in exchange for Winnipeg's 2025 4th round pick and has signed a two-year, $2.6 million contract extension ($1,300,000 AAV) with the Sharks on Thursday. The 23-year-old was Dallas' 2018 1st round pick (13th overall) and only appeared in 42 games in 2023-24, picking up two goals, nine points, 23 PIMs and a -10 plus/minus.

Grundstrom's rights were acquired by San Jose at last weeks NHL draft in a trade for Kyle Burroughs and has signed a two-year. $3.6 million contract ($1,800,000 AAV). The 26-year-old right-winger just finished his sixth NHL season with Los Angeles and had eight goals, 12 points, 95 SOG and 12 PIMs in 50 games played.

San Jose added to its offensive depth on Wednesday by bringing in AHL veteran Andrew Poturalski on a two-year, two-way contract. The 30-year-old added two NHL games to the six total he has throughout his career in 2023-24 but spent the majority of the season with Coachella Valley (AHL) and had 15 goals and 51 points in 60 games played.

Gaudette spent the 2024 season in the Blues organization, where he played two NHL games and 67 AHL games. During his time with Springfield (AHL), he led the AHL with 44 goals and was third in points (71). He'll likely start the year in Belleville (AHL).

San Jose added to their defensive depth on Tuesday as they signed Lucas Carlsson to a two-year, two-way deal. The 26-year-old will likely begin the season with the Barracuda (AHL) after appearing in two NHL games for Florida in 2023-24. In 60 career NHL games, he has three goals, 11 points and 14 PIMs across four separate seasons.

After three successful seasons in Cleveland (AHL), Columbus has signed Cole Clayton to a one-year, entry-level contract on Monday. The 24-year-old joined Cleveland as an undrafted free agent in 2021-22 and had five goals and 20 points in 59 games with Cleveland in 2023-24.

After being bought out of his contract in Buffalo earlier this week, Jeff Skinner has signed a one-year, $3 million contract with Edmonton. The 32-year-old is entering his 15th NHL season and had 24 goals, 46 points, 211 SOG and 34 PIMs in 74 games played in 2023-24.

After two strong seasons in Edmonton, Vincent Desharnais has signed a two-year deal worth $4 million ($2,000,000 AAV) with cross-country rival Vancouver. The 6'7" defensemen will add to the Canucks already towering defensive unit ater scoring one goal and 11 points in 78 games played.

25-year-old Jimmy Huntington has signed a one-year, two-way contract with Pittsburgh on Monday as he attempts to crack the NHL for the first time in his career. The travelling centre won a Calder Cup with Hershey (AHL) in 2023-24 after putting up 16 goals and 33 points in 67 games played during the regular season.

San Jose continues key pieces during the offseason as they signed forward Alex Wennberg to a two-year deal worth $10.0 million ($5.0M AAV). The 30-year-old spent 2023-24 split between New York and Seattle and had 10 goals and 30 points in 79 games played.

Toffoli will head to the West Coast to join the young talent out in San Jose as he signed a four-year deal worth $24.0 million ($6.0M AAV) with the Sharks on Monday. The 32-year-old was acquired at the trade deadline by Winnipeg from New Jersey and had 33 goals, 55 points and 229 SOG in 79 total games played in 2023-24.

Liljegren completed his third full season with the Maple Leafs in 2023-24 and earned himself a two-year, $6 million contract extension ($3,000,000 AAV) on Monday. The 25-year-old tied his career high in points last season with his three goals, 23 points, 62 SOG and 16 PIMs in 55 games played.

Skinner has three years left on a deal that carries a $9.0M AAV cap-hit. According to Cap Friendly, the buyout will save the Sabres $7.33 million but will keep Skinner on the books until the 2029-30 season. He'll cost them $1.445M AAV for the 2024-25 season. Skinner had a career year in 2023 but had just 24 goals and 22 assists (46 points) in 74 games last year.

Giles spent 2023-24 with the Charlotte Checkers (AHL) and earned himself a two-way, two-year contract extension with Florida on Friday. The 24-year-old had 13 goals and 23 points in 66 games played in his third season with Charlotte.

Grundstrom appeared in 50 games during the 2023-24 season, scoring eight goals with four assists (12 points). Grundstrom has always been a fringe roster player for the Kings but should earn a more permanent role with the Sharks. His last three seasons have been very similar, he's averaged 54 games, 10 goals and six assists (16 points).

Nashville made a minor prospect deal on Sunday as they traded Egor Afanasyev to San Jose for right-winger Ozzy Wiesblatt. The Predators had their hands tied with Afanasyev as he had informed them that he expected to play in the NHL full-time next season or he would be heading back to his native country of Russia. The 23-year-old left-winger has appeared in 19 NHL games with the Predators in the last two seasons and has one goal, no assists and a -8 plus/minus.

Nedeljkovic had an impressive first season in Pittsburgh, mostly backing up Tristan Jarry all season before leading the Penguins' end-of-the-year playoff push and has earned himself a two-year, $5 million ($2,500,000 AAV) contract extension. The 28-year-old finished 2023-24 with a 18-7-7 record, 2.97 GAA and .902 SV% while appearing in 38 total games.

New York waived playoff stud Barclay Goodrow on Tuesday and he was claimed by the San Jose Sharks on Wednesday. The 31-year-old carries a $3.64 million cap hit for three more seasons after scoring four goals and 12 points in 80 games with the Rangers in 2023-24.

Dallas had simply run out of room for forward Ty Dellandrea and has traded the 23-year-old centre to San Jose for a 2024 fourth-round pick. Dellandrea was Dallas' 2018 first-round pick (13th overall) and appeared in 42 games for the Stars in 2023-24, picking up two goals, nine points, 23 PIMs and a -10 plus/minus.
