The Golden Knights will turn to Samsonov for the 17th time this season when they travel to Nashville to take on the Predators on Tuesday. Samsonov played well in a losing effort his last time out, stopping 24 of the 26 shots he faced in a 2-1 defeat in New York on Saturday. The 27-year-old netminder owns an impressive 11-4-1 record and a .908 SV% in his first season with the Golden Knights. Vegas enters action as slight favourites on Tuesday at -130 on the money line.

Wennberg (illness) is expected to be available on Tuesday in Detroit.

Wennberg did not play the Sharks' previous game due to an illness but will likely return to the lineup on Tuesday against the Detroit Red Wings. The 30-year-old Wennberg is averaging 18:30 time-on-ice and has 20 points (8G / 12A) in 44 games this season.

Dellandrea will draw back into San Jose's lineup on Friday in Utah.

Dellandrea has not played since December 31st but will re-enter the lineup on Friday against the Utah Hockey Club, replacing an injured Nikolai Kovalenko (upper body). The 24-year-old Dellandrea is averaging 11:48 time-on-ice, recording four points (1G / 3A), 25 blocks, and 80 hits in 33 games this season.

Askarov will start vs. Minnesota on Saturday.

On the tail end of a back-to-back, the Sharks will turn to Askarov between the pipes on Saturday against the Minnesota Wild. The Sharks' only two wins in their last 11 games have come with Askarov in their crease (2-8-1). The 22-year-old Askarov has been impressive in limited NHL action this season, posting a solid 2.30 GAA and .923 SV% in seven games (3-2-2).

The Jets snapped a three-game losing skid in their most recent outing, a 5-2 win over the Nashville Predators when Connor Hellebuyck saved 26 of 28 shots (.929 SV%), but the team will turn to Comrie on Friday.
