Martin Kaut has been recalled from the Eagles (AHL) and will be in the Avalanche's lineup Monday.

Kaut had four goals and five points in six games with the Colorado Eagles (AHL) prior to his third call-up of the season to the Avalanche. In his previous stints with the Avalanche, he had a goal, two assists, and 19 SOG across 18 games while averaging 10:14 TOI.

John Klingberg will return to the Ducks' lineup Friday vs. San Jose (lower body).

Klingberg has been out since Nov. 23rd with a lower-body injury but will return to the Anaheim Ducks Friday as they take on San Jose. The 30-year-old veteran has a goal, seven assists, 29 SOG and a -12 plus/minus in 20 games prior to the injury.

Klingberg has missed the last three games with a lower-body injury and is not with the team in Dallas, and could miss the final three games of their road-trip. Klingberg has struggled since joining the Ducks, scoring one goal, seven assists and a minus-12 rating in 20 games.

Nedeljkovic will start Wednesday vs. the Sabres.

Nedeljkovic was called upon in a relief role last game but stopped all 12 shots he faced as his Red Wings would eventually lose to Toronto despite his best efforts to keep the game close. The 26-year-old has struggled in his second year in Detroit, posting a 2-3-1 record with a 4.01 GAA and .880 SV%. He takes on the Buffalo Sabres who are in the middle of a two-game skid and have lost eight of their last 10 contests.

Evgeny Svechnikov will be a healthy scratch Tuesday vs. Montreal.

Svehcnikov had dressed for the Sharks' previous two games but will head back to the press box Tuesday in place of Jeffrey Viel. The 26-year-old has three goals and three assists with 17 SOG through 18 games played while playing bottom-six minutes averaging only 10:41 TOI.

Kaut will not travel with the team due to illness and will therefore miss the Avalanche's next four games as they head off to Winnipeg Tuesday. The 23-year-old has a goal and two assists along with 18 SOG through 16 games in his first season as a full-time Avalanche player.

Klingberg only managed to play 15:31 TOI before leaving due to a lower-body injury the Ducks' last time out vs. NYR. He is considered day-to-day and will miss the Ducks' game Friday. The 30-year-old defenseman has a goal and seven assists with a. -12 plus/minus through 20 games this season.
