Samsonov will likely start in the first of two games for the Maple Leafs in Sweden as part of the NHL Global Series. Samsonov has struggled on a whole this season, registering a 3.79 GAA and .870 SV% through eight appearances (3-1-2) but is coming off one of his stronger performances of the season, saving 31 of 33 shots in a 5-2 victory over the Vancouver Canucks. The Maple Leafs are -174 favourites as the road team in Sweden against a Detroit Red Wings team coming off a 5-4 overtime loss to the Ottawa Senators last night.

Barre-Boulet will sit in favour of Austin Watson, who draws back into the Lightning lineup on Thursday. Barre-Boulet has four goals and three assists in 14 games on the season.

Kesselring played his first nine NHL games last season, recording three assists, six penalty minutes, and a -1 plus/minus rating. He is expected to make his season debut on Thursday, skating on the Coyotes' second defensive pairing with Matt Dumba.

Comrie has not played since October 27 after suffering a lower-body injury but will be available to play on Friday. Before his injury, Comrie played well, posting a 2.45 GAA and .914 SV% in three games (1-1-0). The Sabres have leaned heavily on the tandem of Devon Levi and Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen in his absence but it appears the Sabres will give Comrie the opportunity to immediately rediscover some of his early season pedigree as the starting goalie against the Winnipeg Jets.

Dellandrea has been a healthy scratch for the Stars' previous three games but will draw back into the lineup Tuesday vs. Arizona as he replaces Sam Steel. The 23-year-old centre has struggled out of the gate this season, with his one assist, nine SOG, two PIMs and -1 plus/minus in nine games played. He returns to his role on line four.

After playing one game and failing to record a point, Lindblom was placed on the injured reserve with an undisclosed injury. In a corresponding move, the Sharks have recalled Danil Gushchin from the AHL.

Lindblom will get his chance with the Sharks after opening the season with the Barracuda of the AHL, tallying two points (1G / 1A) in eight games. Last season, Lindblom had 15 points (6G / 9A) in 73 games with the Sharks.

Kesserling will join the Coyotes after being recalled from the Tuscon Roadrunners of the AHL, where he has been held without a point in six games. Kesserling played nine games with the Coyotes last season, registering three points (0G / 3A) and 12 hits while averaging 17:06 time-on-ice.
