Price allowed three goals on 38 shots in the Canadiens loss in Nashville on Thursday. Price has lost two straight while allowing a combined seven goals on 70 shots (.900 SV%). Price allowed four goals on 36 shots in a 4-1 loss in his first game against the Lightning.

Price allowed four goals on 32 shots in the Canadiens loss to the Maple Leafs last Saturday. The loss snapped a seven-game winning streak for Price, who will face the Predators for the second time this season. Price stopped 28 of 31 shots in a 4-1 loss in the first meeting (Jan.5).

With Brandon Sutter out with a lower-body injury, Gaudette earns another call-up in 2018-19. The 22-year-old has scored three goals with four assists (seven points) in 32 games with the Canucks this season. During his time in the AHL, Gaudette has 11 points (5G / 6A) in 14 games.

Price stopped 24 of the 25 shots that he faced in the Canadiens win over the Ducks on Tuesday. Price is riding a six-game winning streak, position a 1.33 GAA, .957 SV% and one shutout in the process. So far this season, Price is 12-9-2 with a 2.63 GAA, .908 SV% and two shutouts on home-ice.

Price surrendered three goals on 24 shots in the Canadiens win over the Oilers on Sunday. Price has been on-fire as of late, winning five straight starts while posting an impressive 1.39 GAA, .957 SV% and one shutout. He has been excellent and has the best matchup possible tonight. Anaheim played in Toronto last night, rank last in the NHL in goals/per game and have lost 16 of their last 18 (2-12-4).

Price will not be available for Saturday’s game vs. the Devils, so Michael McNiven has been recalled from Laval (AHL) to backup Antti Niemi. This one-game suspension isn’t a big deal considering the Habs have a back-to-back on Saturday/Sunday and Niemi likely would have started one of the games regardless. Price will face the Oilers on Sunday.
