Stephenson and his wife are reportedly expecting a baby, so Stephenson has been designated non-roster and will miss Saturday's game. Luckily for the Kraken, they'll get Jaden Schwartz back from a lengthy injury absence to replace Stephenson.

Schwartz has been out since November 26th but is expected to be back in the lineup Saturday in Carolina. Schwartz is expected to take Chandler Stephenson's spot in the lineup after Stephenson was designated non-roster.

The Kraken will be without one of their top offensive contributors in recent weeks, as Eberle was absent from the team's morning skate on Thursday. The 35-year-old veteran forward has turned back the clock lately, with 14 points (7G / 7A) in his last 17 games.

Tolvanen is battling an illness, but will play on Thursday against the Minnesota Wild. The 26-year-old has zero points in his last four games, but is otherwise having a great season, with 25 points (7G / 18A) in 40 games.

The 34-year-old Grubauer saved 41 of 42 shots (.976 SV%) in his most recent outing, a 5-1 win over the Calgary Flames. He has an excellent 2.21 GAA and .926 SV% in 14 games this season (8-3-1). The Kraken enter Thursday's contest as +133 home underdogs against a Minnesota Wild team that has lost five of its last eight games (3-2-3).

The Kraken's recent rotation in goal will continue on Monday as Grubauer gets the nod in Calgary. Grubauer turned in another stellar performance in his last start, allowing just a single goal on 25 shots in a 4-1 win over the Predators on New Year's Day. The 34-year-old is enjoying a bounce-back campaign, posting a 7-3-1 record along with a .920 SV% and 2.32 GAA across 13 appearances. Grubauer and the Kraken enter action on Monday at +125 on the money line.

Seattle's workhorse netminder will make his 25th start of the campaign when the Kraken travel to Vancouver on Friday. Daccord was unfortunate to be tagged with a loss in his final start of 2025, allowing just a pair of goals on 24 shots before eventually losing in a shootout to the Canucks on Monday. The Kraken will turn to Grubauer between the pipes for a second consecutive game when they host the Predators on Thursday. Grubauer was excellent in his last start, stopping 32 of the 33 shots he faced in a 4-1 win over the Flyers on Sunday. The 34-year-old netminder is enjoying a bit of a renaissance for the Kraken this season, posting an impressive .917 SV% across 12 appearances. Grubauer and the Kraken enter action on Thursday at -105 on the money line as they look to start off 2026 in the win column.

Larsson has played every game this season, but was absent from practice due to an illness. It's unclear if he will be ready to play in Thursday's game against the Nashville Predators. The 33-year-old defenseman is averaging 21:48 time-on-ice and has eight points (2G / 6A) in 37 games.

Nyman had been semi productive lately, with two assists in his last four games, but has been reassigned to the Coachella Valley Firebirds (AHL). The 21-year-old Finnish forward has six points (4G / 2A) in 24 games this season.

The Kraken will hand Daccord the reigns for the 24th time this season when they host the Canucks on Monday. Daccord was lights out in his last start, stopping 35 of the 37 shots he faced in a 3-2 win in Los Angeles on Tuesday. The 29-year-old netminder owns a 10-9-4 record to go along with a respectable .902 SV% on the season. Daccord and the Kraken enter action on Monday at -105 on the money line.

Tye Kartye will be a healthy scratch on Monday against the Vancouver Canucks, allowing Winterton to re-enter the lineup. The 22-year-old Winterton is averaging 11:44 time-on-ice and has five points (2G / 3A) in 34 games this season.
