Grubauer will start against the Sabres on Monday.

Grubauer stopped 32 of 34 shots in the Capitals’ 5-2 victory over the Wild on Thursday. Monday will mark Grubauer’s third appearance in as many games, after he allowed one goal on 11 shots in relief of Braden Holtby in Saturday’s 6-1 loss to the Blackhawks. He draws a great matchup this afternoon in Buffalo.

Murray turned in another strong performance Thursday, turning away 34 of the 35 shots he faced in a 3-1 victory over the Kings. Murray has been solid since returning from injury, going 6-1 with a .924 SV%. He draws a difficult matchup tonight against the high-scoring Maple Leafs.

The Penguins don’t need Murray to play particularly well right now; they’ve scored 4.42 goals per game over their last seven. In that same seven-game stretch, Murray has gone 5-0-1 with a mediocre .916 SV%. He and the Penguins draw a tough matchup tonight in the Kings.

Grubauer hasn’t played since February 4th against Vegas, where he stopped 27 of 31 shots (.871 SV%) in a losing effort. Grubauer has proven to be a serviceable backup this season, but he has a difficult task in front of him tonight in the form of the Minnesota Wild.

McCormick will be back in the Senators lineup on Tuesday.

McCormick was a healthy scratch in Toronto on Saturday, but will return tonight in Pittsburgh. McCormick will replace Fredrik Claesson in the lineup as the Senators go back to 12 forwards and six defensemen. McCormick has just one goal in five games while averaging just 5:47 TOI with the Senators.

Murray stopped 33 of 34 shots in the Penguins win in St. Louis on Sunday. Murray has won four of five with a 2.76 GAA and .918 SV% since returning from the death of his father. The Penguins are really heating up right now and Murray is a must-start vs. the Senators this evening.

Murray allowed four goals on 25 shots in the Penguins win over the Golden Knights on Tuesday. Since returning to the Penguins crease, Murray is 3-0-0 with a 3.33 GAA and .900 SV%. The 23-year-old has not been nearly as good on the road as he has on home ice. Luckily for him he catches the Stars on the tail-end of a back-to-back, but they’ve been one of the best home teams in the NHL this season.

Murray will start Tuesday vs. the Golden Knights.

Murray allowed four goals on 33 shots in the Penguins win over the Capitals last Friday. He was given Saturday off, so look for him to be back in tonight vs. the Golden Knights. Murray has gone 2-0-0 while stopping 69 of 75 shots (.920 SV%) since returning to the Penguins’ crease. He will go head-to-head with his former teammate Marc-Andre Fleury.

Murray stopped 40 of 42 shots in the Penguins win over the Sharks on Tuesday. It was an exceptional return to the crease for Murray, who is now 10-4-1 with a 2.61 GAA and .921 SV% at the PPG Paints Arena this season. Tonight he will face the Capitals for the third time this season—he is 1-1-0 with a 2.51 GAA and .904 SV% in the first two meetings.

Murray stopped all six shots he faced in relief to earn an overtime win vs. the Bruins on January 7th. He has been either sidelined with a personal matter or serving as Casey DeSmith’s backup ever since, but will return to the cage tonight vs. the Sharks. It has been a difficult month for Murray, but he will try and return to hockey tonight on home ice, where he is 9-4-1 with a 2.65 GAA and .918 SV% this season.
