Murray will start Thursday vs. the Hurricanes.

Murray allowed one goal on 18 shots in the Penguins win over the Devils on March 6th. Marc-Andre Fleury started the last four games, but will get the night off tonight vs. the Hurricanes. Murray is 3-2-1 with a 1.82 GAA and .934 SV% this season, but one of those losses came against Carolina in his NHL debut—he allowed two goals on 26 shots in a 2-1 loss that night.

Grubauer starts Saturday in San Jose.

Grubauer stopped 33 of 34 shots in the Capitals win in Boston last Saturday. He has won his last two starts while stopping 60 of 63 shots (.952 SV%). Tonight he will make his seventh start on the road—he has gone 4-2-0 with a 2.03 GAA and .930 SV% away from home this season.

Murray allowed three goals on 37 shots in the Penguins loss in Washington on Tuesday. With Marc-Andre Fleury starting last night, Murray will go tonight in New Jersey. Murray is 2-2-1 with a 1.98 GAA and .933 SV% in the NHL this season and faces a Devils team that has lost seven of their last nine.

Grubauer starts Saturday in Boston.

Grubauer allowed two goals on 29 shots in the Capitals win over the Maple Leafs on Wednesday. It was predetermined that Grubauer would start two games this week, so tonight he takes on the Bruins in Boston. The 24-year-old has gone 3-2-0 with a 2.23 GAA and .922 SV% in five starts and two relief appearances on the road this season.

Murray, 21, has gone 20-9-1 with a 2.10 GAA and .931 SV% with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AHL). He has appeared in four games with the Penguins this season, going 2-1-0 with a 1.72 GAA and .938 SV%. With Marc-Andre Fleury starting last night, Murray will draw a tough assignment tonight in Washington.

Grubauer allowed one goal on 16 shots after replacing Braden Holtby in the Capitals loss to the Canadiens last Wednesday. With two back-to-backs this week, this will be Grubauer’s first of two starts and it will come against the Maple Leafs. Grubauer has gone 3-3-1 with a 2.00 GAA and .930 SV% on home ice this season and his matchup tonight is worthy of a spot-start.

Grubauer stopped all 10 shots that he faced after replacing Braden Holtby in the Capitals loss in Dallas on Saturday. Grubauer has started nine games and made four relief appearances this season—going 5-4-1 with a 2.24 GAA and .919 SV%. Grubauer has played well when called upon this season and tonight he faces a Kings team that is 3-3-0 while averaging 4.00 goals per game since the All-Star break.

Schwartz practiced with teammates for the first time since fracturing his ankle in October.

Schwartz has not played since October 20th, but he finally returned to practice on Wednesday, which is an excellent sign that he could be back after the All Star break. Schwartz’s return would be huge for a banged up Blues team. His owned percentage has dropped to 49%, so he may be available in your league.

McCann will skate on the Canucks top line with Henrik Sedin out.

McCann will centre the Canucks top line between Daniel Sedin and Jannik Hansen on Tuesday. The 19-year-old has 12 points (7G / 5A) in 41 games this season and makes for a decent DraftKings value option given his recent promotion.
