Seattle has signed John Hayden to a two-year contract extension.
Hayden has spent the last three seasons in Seattle and will remain with the Kraken for two more years after signing a two-year, $1.55 million contract extension ($775,000 AAV) on Wednesday. The 30-year-old forward appeared in 20 games with the Kraken in 2024-25, picking up a goal and two points to go alongside 31 PIMs while averaging 8:31 TOI/GP.
Samoskevich is listed as a scratch for Game 3 against the Maple Leafs.
Samoskevich is expected to draw back into Florida's lineup for Game 2 in Toronto on Wednesday.
Samoskevich has not appeared in Florida's lineup since Game 3 of their opening-round series vs. Tampa Bay but will draw back into the Panthers' lineup for Game 2 in Toronto on Wednesday. The 22-year-old will replace A.J. Greer on Florida's fourth line. In 72 regular-season games this season, Samoskevich had 15 goals and 31 points in his rookie campaign.
Samoskevich is expected to be a healthy scratch for Game 4 on Monday vs. Tampa Bay.

Samoskevich was excellent towards the enter of the season for Florida, scoring 15 points (8G / 7A) in his final 25 games. He has one point (0G / 1A) in three playoff games this postseason.
Lindgren (upper-body) will be available for Game 1 vs. the Stars.
Lindgren missed the final three games of the regular season but will play in Game 1 on Saturday. Lindgren has picked up just three points (2G / 1A) in 18 games since being traded to the Avalanche.

He has a 2.69 GAA and .908 SV% in 56 games this season (27-22-5). Seattle enters Tuesday's contest as +102 home underdogs against a Los Angeles team that defeated the Edmonton Oilers 5-0 last night.

Daccord struggled on Tuesday while making his second start in as many nights, giving up seven goals on 29 shots in a 7-1 loss in Utah. The 28-year-old netminder has performed well for the Kraken this season, posting a 27-21-5 record and a .908 SV%. He'll have his hands full again on Thursday as the Kraken enter action at +225 on the money line.
Lindgren is out vs. Vancouver due to an upper-body injury.
Lindgren is battling an upper-body injury and will not play on Thursday against the Vancouver Canucks. The 27-year-old Lindgren has been solid on Colorado's blue line, recording 26 blocks, 21 hits, and three points (2G / 1A) in 18 games.
Ostman has been reassigned to Coachella Valley (AHL).
Ostman made his NHL debut in a relief performance yesterday, saving all 12 shots he faced in a 7-1 loss to the Utah Hockey Club. The 24-year-old netminder has a 2.00 GAA and .927 SV% in four games with the Coachella Valley Firebirds (AHL) this season (2-1-1).
