The 29-year-old Daccord allowed four goals on 28 shots (.857 SV%) in his most recent outing, a 5-2 loss to the Minnesota Wild. Daccord has lost six straight games (0-5-1), posting an ugly 4.04 GAA and .852 SV%. The Kraken enter Thursday's contest as +161 home underdogs against a Golden Knights team on a four-game winning streak.

Matt Murray has stepped away from the team due to a personal matter, resulting in Kokko being recalled from Coachella Valley (AHL). The 22-year-old Kokko was a second-round pick of Seattle in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft. He has a 3.10 GAA and .903 SV% this season in 34 games (18-10-2) with Coachella Valley.

Philipp Grubauer is sidelined with a lower-body injury, so the Kraken will be forced to turn to Daccord for a tough matchup in Minnesota on Tuesday. Daccord entered Monday night's game in Winnipeg in place of the injured Grubauer, allowing two goals on 12 shots in the relief appearance. Daccord is winless in his last five appearances with his last victory coming back on March 15th. He's posted an 0-4-1 record and a dreadful .851 SV% in that span. Unfortunately for Daccord, things won't be getting any easier on Tuesday, as the Kraken enter action at +200 on the money line.

Ty Mueller will be a healthy scratch on Tuesday, allowing Douglas to re-enter the lineup. The 26-year-old Douglas is averaging 7:59 time-on-ice through nine games with the Canucks and is still searching for his first point with the team.

To be fair, Grubauer was unfortunate to not come away with a victory in his last start, as he turned away 34 of the 36 shots he faced in a 3-2 shootout loss in Buffalo on Saturday. The 34-year-old netminder has enjoyed a bounce-back season, posting a 13-9-4 record and a .911 SV% across 29 appearances. The Kraken enter action on Tuesday just two points behind the Nashville Predators for the final Wild Card spot in the West with two games in hand.
