Murray will start Tuesday vs. the Islanders.

Murray allowed two goals on 21 shots in the Penguins' 2-1 loss in New Jersey last Friday. Tristan Jarry started Saturday, so they come back to Murray tonight vs. the Islanders. "Good possibility" that Grubauer (lower-body) is available for Tuesday's game in Calgary.

Grubauer missed the last five games with a lower-body injury but was at practice on Monday and head coach Jared Bednar thinks both Grubauer and Pavel Francouz will be available on Tuesday. The Avalanche managed to go 4-1-0 without Grubauer.

Murray will start Thursday against the Islanders.

Murray was pulled after allowing three goals on 11 shots in the Penguins loss in Boston on Monday. Everyone is struggling against the Bruins right now, so Murray owners shouldn't worry about his latest outing. In his previous three road outings, Murray stopped 72 of the 79 shots (.911 SV%) and will try to snap the Islanders' winning streak on Thursday. The Isles have won 10 in a row while averaging 3.50 goals per game.

Grubauer will start Tuesday in Dallas.

Grubauer allowed two goals on 29 shots in Colorado's loss to the Stars last Friday. The Avalanche are struggling without Mikko Rantanen and Gabriel Landeskog but Grubauer is still keeping them in games. As good as he has been, the Bruins are a terrible matchup--they are 6-0-1 on home-ice and are sixth in goal-scoring (3.54 GF/gm).

Montour (hand) will make his season debut on Saturday.

Montour was held out of Friday's game, likely to avoid him playing two games in two nights, but he'll make his first appearance of the season on Saturday. Montour will replace John Gilmour in the lineup and is coming off of a season where he had 10 points (3G / 7A) in 20 games with the Sabres after being traded from Anaheim.
