Vasilevskiy will start Thursday vs. the Stars.

After a poor 1-4-2 start to the season, Tampa Bay has turned things around, winning three straight, and will likely turn to Vasilevskiy on Thursday against the Dallas Stars. The 31-year-old Vasilevskiy has an uninspiring 2.86 GAA and .893 SV% in seven games (2-3-2), but has been significantly better lately, posting a 2.00 GAA and .916 SV% in his last four outings (2-1-1). Tampa Bay enters Thursday's contest as -147 home favorites against a Dallas Stars team also riding a three-game winning streak.

Vasilevskiy will start in Nashville on Tuesday.

The Lightning will turn to their franchise netminder between the pipes for the seventh time this season when they travel to Nashville on Tuesday. The former Vezina Trophy winner finally secured his first victory of the season in his last start, when he stopped 18 of the 19 shots he faced in a 2-1 overtime victory against the Golden Knights on Sunday. Vasilevskiy and the Lightning enter action on Tuesday at -175 on the money line.

Chaffee has cleared waivers and been assigned to Syracuse (AHL).

Chaffee played a career-high 66 games with Tampa Bay last season, tallying 16 points (12G / 6A). The 27-year-old forward started the season with Tampa Bay but was held off the scoresheet in seven straight games, resulting in him being a healthy scratch for multiple contests, and ultimately being placed on waivers on Monday. He will report to the Syracuse Crunch (AHL).
