Vasilevskiy allowed two goals on 31 shots in the Lightning’s 3-2 win in Detroit on Monday. He was given a day off on Tuesday, but will make his seventh start of the season tonight in Columbus. So far this season, Vasilevskiy has gone 5-1-0 with a 3.00 GAA and .914 SV%, but he has played much better than the stats suggest.

Girgeonsons played just 2:30 TOI in the Sabres loss in Vegas on Tuesday, but it doesn’t sound like his injury is overly serious. He is listed as day-to-day and thus questionable for Friday, but don’t expect the Latvian forward to miss too much time.
